Newish med card holder. Looking for a new med dispensary with the described above. Have been using Standing Akimbo as they have a great selection. The staff not so great. So I think it's time to see what else is out there. What do you folks recommend?

Tastes great. I think it seems like an interesting step for cannabis consumables and I'm looking forward to seeing its usefulness as an ingredient down the line.

Effect: Comparable to a 5-10mg soda. Hardly noticeable and somewhat disappointing for $25.

Looking forward to more processors getting ahold of the ingredients because, as a way of consuming, it seems to have some potential.

TLDR; Maikoh on Broadway somehow sold me an empty quarter container of weed, I was in a shit mood because of it, expected maybe a free boof shake pre roll as consolation, got a free top shelf quarter on top instead.

Context: I live in DTC but work downtown a couple days a week, one of those days being Tuesday. This is also when Maikoh on Broadway does their 10% off weekly flower deal. I don’t burn through flower super fast, but I’ve been going to Maikoh for flower every month or so, pretty loyally for around a year.

Now yesterday I went in for my flower pick up after work (aka rush hour). I got a half oz ( 2 quarters of different strains) and some live resin. I could have sworn I saw the dude weighing it out behind the counter. All seemed fine, totally normal, so I just paid and was on my way.

Like I said I live in DTC, so driving home in rush hour can take like 30-45 min. Imagine my surprise when I finally get home, stressed from the day and the traffic, just wanting to smoke some fresh new flower. Lo and behold one of the quarter containers was completely empty. I genuinely don’t know how it happened, mistakes happen it’s whatever but I was definitely not happy.

So I called the shop right away, said I was just in and what happened. They told me to come back and they would sort it out. I didn’t get a receipt or anything, and don’t work downtown on Wednesdays. We all know dispos can be shady/shitty, so I wasn’t trusting that they would just act like it never happened come Thursday and just say I was lying for free weed. So I already had that mindset.

I get back in the car, and it is still rush hour, but going north this time. So now I’m more pissed. Sit in traffic probably another 30ish minutes to get back to the shop. Budtender was apologetic (I wouldn’t be surprised if he noticed the problem pretty quickly but I was already out the door the first time) and they looped in the manager.

We’ve all had a shitty dispo experience at some point, so I was expecting at most they’d give me what I was owed and maybe a $5 pre-roll (and that I’d potentially have to fight for just that). I’d also been in the car for over an hour both ways at this point, so I’m not in a great mood and that was probably obvious. Instead, the manager said I could pick another quarter, and off the top shelf. At this point I was probably a little over dramatic, and said I didn’t have the bandwidth to go through a bunch of strains sniffing and looking to pick one again (I just did that an hour earlier), and just said dealers choice (they chose Pie Hoe from Indico, which I had looked at earlier).

In the end they said I was all good and I was on my way with extra quarter of top shelf weed. But I still had to drive home (in more traffic), so despite the indisputable gain I had just made, I was still in a pissy mood.

Sorry for the wall of text but I’m a bit of a storyteller lol, which is why I put the tldr at the top. But the main reason I am writing this is firstly to thank Maikoh for making good on their mistake and hooking me up more than I honestly expected. I also wanted to apologize on my own behalf because I’m sure I came off as a dick, even after everything was made good. It wasn’t you, it was me. I mean yeah it was a mistake and very inconvenient for me, but shit happens, everything was made whole and then some, staff was apologetic and there’s no hard feelings. I was just pissy from a long work day and a lot of traffic.

I also just wanted to highlight that not only does Maikoh have some of the best deli flower in the city, but they have some pretty top tier customer service too.

i’m trying to look online for what this could mean but its all talking about feeling sick the next morning.
for the past 2 months or so once my high wears off i feel sick. its not the next morning its right when i’m not high anymore. i feel sick for maybe 20 minutes and then i’m good.
i thought i was greening out or taking too much but i only take 1-2 hits max.
i am going on vacation in a couple days so i might just not use while i’m there and maybe that will help.
i’m just wondering if anyone knows why that happens and if theres a way to make it not happen?
