Stuck at a Plateau – Need Advice to Improve in CS2

Hi Community ,

I've got a decent number of hours in CS2, but I feel like I've hit a plateau and want to improve my mechanics the right way instead of just grinding matches.

Looking for recommendations on:

- Best aim & movement training routine

- Workshop maps (aim, prefire, movement, utility, etc.)

- YouTube channels/resources that actually helped you improve

- Mouse & keyboard settings (DPI, sens, polling rate, Hall Effect keyboard settings if you use one)

If you were trying to become a much better player today, what routine and resources would you recommend?

Got tired of never reviewing my CS2 demos, so I built a coach that walks me through my biggest mistakes after every match

Everyone says review your demos. Almost nobody does, because it's tedious and you don't know what you're looking for.

So I built Game Demon. Two parts to it:

Live coach, during the match. It calls out your patterns in real time as you play, the stuff actually costing you rounds.

Film room, after the match (this part's Pro). It pulls out your biggest mistakes, ranks them by how much they cost you, and walks you through each with the better line and a one-click jump straight to that moment. Not "your aim was bad," more like "you lost both pistols, here's the round where the eco spiraled, watch this."

A couple things I cared about building it:

It doesn't make stuff up. When a call is low-confidence it says so and tells you to treat it as a prompt to look, not gospel. I'd rather it admit "not sure" than invent a mistake you didn't make.

It's not a cheat. It uses sanctioned game data, doesn't read memory, was approved on Steam, and is VAC safe. You won't get banned.

New game I built

Hello everyone

Recently built a fun wordle like game but for CS iconic clips. First you're shown a blurred out clip and you need to guess the player, team that player was on in the clip, the year it happened and what map this happened on. Theres also an archive feature if you wanna guess previous days clips. Have fun. Just looking for some feedback. Recently I got some people saying that the clip was too blurry so I fixed it.

We need a platinum coin!

Hate that I’m stuck with gold coin only missing one stage, when gold is generally quite easy to get, and silver you can achieve just by selecting in every stage, need a new middle ground between diamond and gold!
