Sweden

Looking for other Swedish people who want to play CS2! I’m a 27-year-old girl. I’m currently at 13.6k Elo in Premier. Some days I absolutely smash it, and other days I play like a bot 😂
So I’m not looking for people who take the game too seriously.
Leave a comment or send me a DM and let’s play :)

I added a Daily Smoke Challenge to SmokePractice — try to beat your friends 👀

I’ve posted SmokePractice here before, so I’ll keep this one short.

I just added a Daily Smoke Challenge. Every day, everyone gets the same 5 lineups.

You first get to see the throw — where to stand, what to aim at, and where the smoke lands. Then the preview disappears and you get one attempt to hit each smoke. Takes around 2 minutes, and you get a score at the end.

Try today’s challenge and send your score to a friend you queue with. Let’s see who can get the better score 😄

I also added some things people have been asking for:

  • Import your CS2 crosshair using a share code
  • Use a pro's crosshair/settings
  • Rebind all keys
  • Use your in-game sensitivity
  • Move the viewmodel
  • No account or installation required
  • Once the map is loaded, it can run offline

One important disclaimer: the physics are fitted from pro demos, so they're very close to CS2 but not 100% identical. Mirage and Dust2 are properly checked, while some of the other maps may still have lineups that are slightly off.

If you find a smoke that's wrong, please let me know which one. That's honestly the feedback I need most right now, and I'll fix it.

If you want to follow the project, give feedback, suggest features, or just hang out, we also have a Discord: [Discord link]

Also, I’m keeping track of the first 100 Early Birds 👀
There’ll be some nice perks for the early users as the project grows, so if you want to be part of it, don’t wait too long.

Would love to see some Daily Challenge scores in the comments. 🔥

Switch to FACEIT now or continue to suffer

TLDR: FACEIT is better, Premier bad. You should switch now. New Overwatch and VACNet won't save us fr. Links to you youtube videos at the bottom that help explain for those who hate reading.

Let's be somewhat realistic. This new overwatch system is better than the old one because you are judging the behavior instead of just saying the person is cheating and then banning them after enough people say the same thing. This is to train/improve the AI so it can learn what cheating actually looks like and go from there. Sure, this is better than what we had in CS:GO, but you should not get your hopes through the roof. The problem is cheaters and VAC banned players have access to it. They already have a bot system setup to automatically mark every clip as not cheating automatically. We also have very inexperienced players making judgments; the type of people who think anyone better than them is cheating.

Overwatch in CS:GO basically did nothing. Anyone who played matchmaking enough knows that spin-botters and blatant wallers were still a regular occurrence even though we had an anti-cheat plus overwatch. There were even documented cases of people abusing the overwatch system itself. I'll admit, I don't fully understand how all of this works, so can someone explain how this new anti-cheat is going to be that much better? VACNet could better, and I hope it will be, but it can't be better than a kernel anti-cheat like FACEIT's. Their anti-cheat is not only kernel level, but also uses AI. Players are required to have TPM, Secure Boot & IOMMU enabled to run the anti-cheat.

An independent audit of FACEIT's anti-cheat by Intorqa also looked into ways of getting around it and found that DMA/2 PC setups were among the more problamatic methods of cheating. I'll be the first to admit that FACEIT isn't impossible to cheat on. No anti-cheat is. But there is a pretty big difference between downloading a cheat and playing Premier versus needing an expensive DMA + firmware or a 2 PC setup to get away with cheating. I'd argue the average player can't comfortably afford either setup anyway.

As someone who has thousands of hours on both matchmaking and FACEIT, I can confidently say that FACEIT has SIGNIFICANTLY LESS cheaters. I can actually play games without constantly thinking, "Is that guy cheating?" or "That guy has to be cheating." Obviously that's just my personal experience, but I think anyone who has played a lot of both can understand what I'm saying.

Yes, FACEIT also has the same issues Premier does. I will never deny that. FACEIT has cheaters, smurfs, and toxic players as well. But on FACEIT, they are much less of an issue except for toxicity, which I will admit is worse there. But if you have a spine and decent mental strength, it's not really that bad.

On FACEIT, players you report at least have a chance of actually getting banned. FACEIT has a dedicated reporting and enforcement system, they have real people that actually look at these reports. How many times have you reported someone for cheating, toxicity, or griefing in Premier and nothing happens, and then you see them again the next game or later in the future? I get notifications multiple times a month about players I reported getting banned. If a cheater you played against gets banned, you can actually get your elo back. Have you ever gotten Elo back in Premier when a cheater got banned? I bet not. They recently beefed up their punishments for all these things and have a pretty good ban policy overall.

Anyone who genuinely wants the majority of their games to be clean will switch to FACEIT. Anyone who actually cares about improving at the game and ranking up will switch to FACEIT; it is more competitive than premier so if you like to be competitive then its for you. Want cheaters, smurfs and toxic players to at least face a realistic chance of being banned? Switch to FACEIT. "I just play for fun" "I don't want to sweat", its okay that is what the low ranks are for and if you are casual, you will surely end up there and be fine. As someone who has been FACEIT level 1 back in the days, its not sweaty down there. Also, the pros play FACEIT. Why do you think they play there? Anyone who wants to ever go pro will have to play FACEIT. Teams aren't scouting players from the premier leaderboard. Basically FACEIT is good for everyone.

Also, the PROS play FACEIT. Why do you think they play there? Anyone who wants to ever go pro will have to play FACEIT. Teams aren't scouting players on the premier leaderboard.

Time to talk about Linux. Unfortunately since FACEIT uses a kernel anti-cheat, Linux users are out of luck. Lets be real though. Who cares about Linux? Most computers don't even ship with it. This part was rage bait, but for real though, you guys are out of luck and idk what to tell you.

Yes I know we shouldn't have to resort to a 3rd party platform to enjoy the game. It's truly sad. Believe me, I agree, but if you want a real shot at playing fair games then FACEIT is the best way to go. I recommend doing more research to see if you really want to switch, but you'll probably just find all the same things I said here anyway. Maybe watch a YouTube video about how FACEIT works and what the culture is like.

Personally, I don't like spinbotters and getting insta headshotted by scouts so I will choose to play on FACEIT.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Which sites do you use for CS2 betting and why?

Thinking about trying Melbet for CS2 betting for the first time. I have done a lot of reading and reviews are mixed but mostly positive. Before I deposit anything wanted to hear from people with actual experience in betting. How was verification for you? Any unexpected limits on esports? Would rather ask here before start
