Before 456 Nelton court had a group of young kids who played basketball and was known for jumping people all through the upper Albany/ clay hill areas so there was always tension between them and the Avenue. Before 456 they were known for jumping ppl. CNN STOOD FOR CROOKVILLE NELTON NIGGAS because Stowe village other than 20 love was known as Crookville and when Stowe village got tore down in 98 they migrated to Nelton court and formed CNN. 456 came from them loving to play dice.

I’ve lived in CT my entire life and love it here despite our states flaws. I was talking to a friend from the Midwest and mentioned soda and he was like “you mean pop?” I was curious as to what other words that are exclusive to CT. For example, I guess “grinders” is also a CT exclusive thing. I wanna hear what yall got!
What type of stories and what hoods should I post about? I have a lot of personal info especially from 2014-2023 ain’t intune with what’s going on as much now as these lil niggas got a lot of funny shit going on and the information isn’t as reliable.
The G and Island were beefing for decades, the 90’s and 2000’s were the deadliest with notable loved members dying on both sides as both hoods were big trap areas.
It’s crazy how time changes things as the younger generations are cool with each other. Both projects were remodeled and are much safer now.

All 3 of these projects are in the OutTheWay area of New Haven. The manor is the only hood that hasn’t been remodeled in that area.
During the 90’s and 2000’s these hoods were a no fly zone for outsiders. They had security on all entrances and there were shootouts daily.
They weren’t as active during the 2010’s but the younger generation have been trying to make a name for themselves now going as the 5️⃣s.
Elm Haven was one of New Haven’s first major public-housing projects, built in the 1940s for working-class families. For decades it was a real community, but by the 1970s–80s, poverty, job loss, urban renewal and neighborhood decline changed the area.
During the crack era, Elm Haven became associated with drug dealing, street crews and violent beefs, which in turn The Tribe was created. New Haven’s overall violent crime also rose sharply during this period.
By the 1990s, the buildings had deteriorated badly and the high-rises were demolished. The area was eventually redeveloped into Monterey Place also known as ACP.

Bry,Poppa and GWade were recently indicted in the SOB indictment. Bry is allegedly involved in 2 Murders - Maji( The Tre3️⃣) Kaymar(The Ville2️⃣). Bry is the reason the ville now goes by 2-4.
TyTy/GetUpWitchu was killed during the crate challenge in the 9 in Fair Haven. His death caused a lot of trouble in the hoods he was loved in.
