Like, from a senior I heard that the eng dept of HCU is likely heavily focused on the syllabus and one needs to spend most of the time dealing with that. The professors are top notch and they expect the same level of performance from u also. There are three internals per semester tho. So what I analysed that there's very little time one can get there for his goals apart from the syllabus.

So my question is, does anyone like me who wants time for NET/JRF and a few times for college life like everyone else does should consider UoH for ma english ?Is the academic pressure there that heavy ?

Hello CUET-PG 2027 aspirant here,can anyone help me with the syllabus of LAQP01-English to get into M.A English in DU.
I got the syllabus from the CUET Website but its too vague,can someone tell me
what text?what writer? exactly am I supposed to read to prepare for the exam.
Like the 1st thing in the pdf says:
"History of English and Indian Literatures: • Major Authors • Texts"
Now which authors am I supposed to consider as major & which works of them to read?
Am I even supposed to read the entire texts or their summaries,themes,characters,character sketcehs,narrative techniques,criticism etc. would be enough?
Every prepration book I find on amazon they are just question banks with hundreds of question which I am willing to do but first I must know the theory,isn't that right?
Should I take online coaching if yes,which one?
