cabbage patch dolls maybe?

I was given these dolls recently and I cant find anything about them I tried googling but i’m completely stumped

a few details I feel like stood out is the tufts of hair and that its not the normal yarn type hair id associate with cabbage patch dolls and the plush attached to the body and the eyes are not painted on like the usual dolls

i’m assuming they probably just a dupe dolls but I wanted to make sure

Finally got my first Cabbage patch

I know nothing about her but she was 2.99 at a thrift store and I couldn't leave her behind. I've never had one before but I've been passively looking for the perfect baby for me. I definitely need to clean her up a bit, she has some stains on her clothes I have to try to remove.

I need to come up with some name options for her. ❤️ I just love this cute little face!

My friend has always talked about how much she wanted a Cabbage Patch doll, so over the years we’ve been keeping an eye out at flea markets and second‑hand shops. We never found one that felt right, until I spotted these two.

My friend has always talked about how much she wanted a Cabbage Patch doll, so over the years we’ve been keeping an eye out at flea markets and second‑hand shops. We never found one that felt right, until I spotted these two. I thought it was perfect: I’d keep the boy doll and give my friend the girl doll. The “twin” tag is something I added myself. I saw a pair of tags on eBay and even though these two aren’t an official twin set, they look so similar that it felt cute to present them that way.

They didn’t come with any of their original paperwork (no adoption papers), which was a bit disappointing, but I made up for it. I bought a beautiful box, lined it with pink tissue paper, and added bows and ribbons. It looks so sweet and special. Some door is going to be knocked off its hinges when she sees her girl Cabbage Patch, she’s going to absolutely melt.

1984 Original Tsukuda Japan Cabbage Patch Kids Doll Ann

African American

Pacifier Girl

Head Mold 4 J11

Birth certificate & Adoption papers in Japanese

RARE!!!!! Tsukuda (Japan) manufactured only 3,000 dolls in 1984. Ann is one of them! Known for her beautiful porcelain complexion, and amazing butterfly eyes.

Excellent vintage condition. Body tag is legible and intact. She is wearing the adorable ruffle dress in white with blue rosebuds, slight elasticity. Her outfit has no inside tags, just as the Tsukuda factory is known for. Her hair is so soft, in the original ponytail w/ the original ribbon. She has her original birth certificate and adoption papers in Japanese, her name is Ann, another Tsukuda trait, no middle name. Her pacifier is quite pristine and clear with no cracking. Her diaper is a Coleco Diaper I put on her. She has only been displayed since I got her.

How did I find Ann??

I purchased three dolls in a lot with clothing 10-15 years ago and never looked at the tags or birth certificates. I was just looking for replacement dolls to the types I had as a kid. I recently checked the tags, and sweet Ann, a Tsukuda doll made in Japan.

Her shoes are not Tsukuda. I am moving soon, so as I started thinning out my collection and the first thing I sold was an extra pair of shoes. Don't you know it, I sold poor Ann's Tsukuda shoes! Her original shoes were white lace ups, which have been replaced with "OK" white lace ups (small scuffs on the back of shoes, see pics)

***No idea if her socks are original. I have multiple dolls, and socks have been cleaned and interchanged.

The only flaws I noticed is a small seam coming out on her shoulder that could easily be stitched up, and a few scuffs on her face/cheek that are likely just from the pacifier. I assume that the previous owner only displayed her as I did. She does not seem to have been played with.

If you have any questions message me. If you have any answers, message me. I can't find another like her. She needs a new forever, loving home!

80s baby here, got my 1st CPK in 1983. Love seeing them carry on giving joy as they did for me!

Bought a vintage cabbage patch doll online with stain on hand

It was $30 total and i just wanted her so bad, but there is a stain on one of the hands. Not sure what the stain is or if it’s been washed. (Screenshot of stain is in second slide)
How should i go about trying to get rid of it once I get her?

Value?

Meet Felicde Marie! I got her in a lot of 19 Cabbies that I found on Facebook Marketplace. My plan is to fix up each one of these kids and then adopt them out at an upcoming doll show. I have never sold at a doll show before and I am not a Cabbage Patch expert, but I am really enjoying the process of learning. I have no idea what her value might be. I was hoping that some of you might be able to point me in the right direction…

Here’s what I know about Felice Marie;

Maker: Coleco
Year: 1985
Head-Mold: #1
Factory: KT
Hair: Wheat, poodle-head with single ponytail
Eyes: Green
Flaws: The paint is scuffed slightly her left her eye and one of the loops of yarn on the front of her head is twisted kind of funny.

She’s had a bath and I re-styled her hair. I put her in a freshly laundered CPK outfit complete with; dress, bloomers, original socks and shoes (no diaper). She does have all of her original paperwork. Luckily I am handy with a needle and thread, as a knee replacement surgery was required on both of her legs. All and all she looks great!

Felice Marie is my first Cabbie restoration and I had so much fun fixing her up. What do you think? How much do think she’s worth?

Afghan Kit

Found this at a good price at a local antique shop. Had all the items inside too! The paints obviously dried out but I'm gonna see if I can rehydrate it or find replacements. Hope to post a picture when I finish the kit!

Originals?

A family member gave me these and wanted help figuring out their IDs and value. They have their full outfits with socks, shoes, and diapers that are still attached. Very well cared for.

Cabbage patch clothing prices/ options?

Hi! I’ve been looking to buy different outfits for my cabbage patch and was wondering if all the 16in clothing is expensive or I’m just looking in the wrong places. I feel the minimum I’m spending is 14 dollars and that’s for a shirt without the pants…

I just bought a dress and bloomers for around 40 bucks— skipping the socks and shoes because these are also a minimum of $12 for the socks and 20 for shoes. I’m wondering if it has to do with her being 16ins because even on the cabbage patch website they have a very limited amount of stuff for them compared to the 20in or preemies.

If they are naturally this expensive, are there any dupes or other types of clothing I could buy instead? I hear they could fit into preemie clothing and sock, I also saw one comment a while ago say American girl doll or baby alive..?

Honestly I was just gonna buy the sewing patterns and make my own, even though my sewing skills are subpar at best😓

Boy smells— doll skin perfume if you miss the smell

Not sure if there are better replacements but the perfume by boy smells called doll skin smells almost identical to the cabbage patch scent, there’s a slight difference— maybe a bit more powdery— I can’t quite put my finger on it… tbh I think they were more trying to replicate Bratz smell given their logo is on the bottle but definitely fits cabbage patches!

I had it recommended to me a while ago and just recently bought my childhood cpk, unfortunately she didn’t have her smell anymore (I mean I expected it) and remembered this perfume. Unfortunately I didn’t think it through till after I washed her with scented detergent so…. Gotta wait for that to wear off

Just thought this would be a nice piece of info some cpk collector would like, wether for their dolls or just themselves

Update on the difference I couldn’t put my finger on: I remember my cabbage patch’s main scent was like a artificial vanilla or cupcake with a lower note of powder but this perfume is reversed more powder, under note artificial sweet.
