If you grew up watching Barney & Friends, this one might surprise you.

David Joyner, the actor who spent 10 years inside the iconic Barney costume, left the children's TV world behind and went in a completely different direction.

The 63-year-old now works as a tantric massage practitioner and spiritual energy healer.

Joyner has said he's studied tantra since he was 20 and believes his current work is still rooted in the same message he brought to Barney: love.

Speaking previously about the career change, he said: "Everything stems, grows, and evolves from love."

It's definitely one of the more unexpected career pivots from a former TV star, especially considering millions of kids grew up watching him as everyone's favorite purple dinosaur.

Going down nostalgia lane and would love to find an independent type station that still has a late night movie block with a title like "up all night" or something similar as I remember in the 80s/90s. Does anyone know of any local TV stations like that?

Been working on this thing called The Dial.. thedialstream.com... it's a "where to watch" guide (all your streaming services in one place so you dont have to app hop) but the whole gimmick is era skins. Every month I'll drop a new one. This month was 2005... full MySpace-style profile pages. Glitter dividers, visitor counter, Top 8, profile song, the whole deal.

I'm not a developer... designed it all myself, built it with AI tools. Just a millennial who misses when the internet didnt have the same personality. I swear it's free and im not trying to sell anything lol
