I’ve seen them wack each other out multiple times

When did they all come together and what made them come together I heard somebody say it was the beef with 118 ecc but what situation made them click up

Way back in the mid 80’s a new gang sprung up in Watts, California called “Chickenhawk Watts 13”, they were a relatively small, but active Mexican gang, but at there height only managed too get around 20-30 deep, they started getting active and would tag up in there hood, unbeknownst to them, Watts Varrio Grape street 13 started noticing them come up and would cross them out on the walls, this would lead to back and forth wall banging until Watts Varrio Grape street 13 started shooting at them, eventually killing one in the early 90’s, which exploded into a full on war, with fights, shootings and killing happening on both sides, Chickenhawk Watts 13 members were either getting locked up or getting killed in the streets, with Watts Varrio Grape street 13’s numbers rising and getting deeper, Varrio Chickenhawk Watts 13’s numbers were declining, by the late 90’s they were pretty much tapped out and defunct, there last bit of activity was in 1996/1997 and that was it, there last members either stopped banging in general or joined other well established varrios in Watts, one incident that happened with this gang war was in the mid 90’s when some WVG’s ran into 2 Chickenhawk Watts 13 members, they got into a fist fight and all scattered, later that week Chickenhawk Watts 13 members pulled up and shot at some Watts Varrio Grape st 13 members, which pissed them off, this is just one of the handful of gangs that did exist in L.A at one point in time, but is now defunct, with no active members representing the gang! It was a relatively short lived gang, only last a little over 10 years and that was it!
