Looking for CamapsFX App - mmol 192 APK file

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have a copy of the APK for update 192, in the mmol version of the application?

I live in Australia and cannot find a copy online.

I've tried to downgrade using the mg/dl, but the conversion is breaking my brain and I'm so burnt out already on all of the issues with updates 193/194, I just want the app to work and stop disconnecting. It stopped many times overnight, then overcompensated for me being high and sent me low. I haven't had a proper night's sleep since update 193 auto-updated onto my phone - rookie mistake, I thought I had auto-updates disabled.

APK Pure has up to 189, but that version wasn't compatible with Dexcom G7 and that is the CGM I'm using.

I'm on Android 16.

Thanks in advance.

Rolled back CamAPS FX to 1.4(192) after Auto mode kept dropping overnight on 193/194 (Android)

Quick heads up for anyone on Android having the same problem. I’ve only been back on 192 for about an hour so I can’t promise it’s fixed for good yet, haven’t had a full night on it, but it’s looking good so far and I wanted to share in case it helps someone else tonight.

My setup is a YpsoPump and Dexcom G7 on a Samsung S23 Ultra, Android 16. I only started this week. On the recent builds, 1.4(193) and (194), Auto mode stopped twice overnight for 5 to 6 hours while I was asleep, with no alert from the app or the pump. It just quietly dropped back to my programmed basal and my sugar climbed. The weird part is CamAPS’s own Statistics screen showed the sensor and pump connected the whole time, and only logged the interruption as reason “Other”. mylife have it with their software team but no fix yet. Going back to 1.4(192) has it running normally for me so far.

Before you start, read this bit:

  • Copy your Dexcom G7 pairing code from the CamAPS sidebar BEFORE you uninstall. You need it to reconnect the sensor afterwards.
  • Have your pump serial number and the pump itself handy (you re-pair it), plus your CamAPS and Dexcom logins.
  • Uninstalling wipes CamAPS’s data on the phone, but your profiles and the algorithm’s learning come back down when you log into your CamAPS account. I didn’t have to re-enter any settings.
  • While you’re doing this the pump is only on programmed basal, so don’t do it at bedtime, and let your team know you’re on an older version.

The steps:

  1. Install Aurora Store (open source Play Store client, auroraoss.com) and sign in. Anonymous mode is fine.
  2. Uninstall CamAPS FX. You can’t put an older version over a newer one so it has to go.
  3. In Aurora find CamAPS FX (mmol/L) or (mg/dL), hit the menu, pick Manual download, and enter version code 524. That’s 1.4(192) for the mmol build, which is the one I went back to. The mg/dL build should be the same code but double check the version it shows before you rely on it.
  4. Let it install and allow Aurora to install apps when Android asks.
  5. Open CamAPS, allow the battery optimisation thing, log in with your CamAPS account and let it sync your profiles back.
  6. Pair the pump (put it in pairing mode, enter the serial), then pair the G7 (Dexcom login plus the code off the sidebar).
  7. Reboot the phone for good measure (My auto mode wasn't kicking in initially, so I assume it was a bluetooth issue, or perhaps I didn't wait long enough)

Two gotchas that nearly made me give up:

Gotcha 1, the tamper warning. On the very first launch after sideloading I got a scary “possible tamper” warning, the screen stayed orange on Attempting and the pump link kept dropping. Just reboot the phone. After a restart it went green, Auto mode kicked in and it’s been solid since. Don’t panic at that first warning.

Gotcha 2, the follower/Companion sharing. You might get repeated “Unable to send data to Companion, encryption key not available, your phone may have been tampered with” popups. This does not seem to touch your pump or Auto mode, mine kept running the whole time, it’s only the data sharing side and the annoying popup. In my case I had two share targets set up, one companion that I thought was required for feeding xDrip and a separate Glooko. I unlinked the one the Companion one, and unlinked and readded my Glooko credentials for good measure, although I'm not sure if that was required. And the popup stopped while my xDrip feed carried on fine. So if you get it, trim your shares down to just the one you actually need. If you actually use the companion share feature, I'm unfortunately unsure how to solve that.

Last thing, turn OFF auto update for CamAPS in the Play Store (app page, menu, untick Enable auto update), otherwise it’ll quietly put 194 back on. An overnight update also stops the app at least on v194, which was behind one of my two dropouts overnight.

⚠️ Not medical advice, it’s an older build of the software so use your own judgement and keep your team in the loop.

⚠️ From what I can tell, Aurora Store is grabbing APKs directly from google play store, so they apparently eventually do drop off from there, but I've also not done a deep analysis on them, although a high level look they seem like a safe source.

🙏 And please report the 193/194 dropouts to mylife or CamDiab with your logs before you uninstall (Menu, Contact, Submit logs) so they actually fix this for v195!!.

Ypsopump is not pairing!

I don't know what to do. I just wanted to switch my pump to my new phone and ended the pairing with my old phone. But now i can't pair it at all. I pump insulin by hand now (with the pump but without loop or anything) just like normal pens... i switched the mobiles off, I deleted the app on the new phone, I switched off/on/off/on the Bluetooth/phone/GPS. I did everything. It doesn't pair. With none of the phones... i am glad/lucky that the app on the old phone didn't shut down completely, so I can see my glucose... in about 19 hours I can go to the doctor... but now I need to sleep and go to work in 5 hours... does anyone know what to do? Or why it couldn't pair?
