Participatory Budgeting - Parking officer dedicated to bike lanes
What would be the positives and negatives of pushing for a line item in the Cambridge participatory budgeting for some dedicated bike lane enforcement?
Maybe it could go towards a bicycle for a particular officer to ride to more efficiently write tickets.
The open data shows 25,000 parking citations written in a month and only 60 or so for blocking bike lanes. Read that as you would like, but for all of the people giving tickets, they apparently are having a hard time seeing the cars in the bike lanes.
