Toronto Golf - Compare pricing and find tee times in the GTA

the problem with golfing in the city is you don't know where you can actually get on and for how much. google maps gives you a pin and nothing else, golfnow skips a ton of courses, and the cart fee is never in the price so you always end up paying more than you planned.

check out LETSGOLF: put in date and time, walk or cart, and it shows you what's available and the total price across courses and simulators. tee times and pricing in one spot. over 200+ cources right now, free, no signup.

if you golf in the GTA, would love to hear what you like/dislike about the website.

iOS App launching soon with features like tee time alerts.

Weighing different club membership options in Burlington/Hamilton

I'm going to buy a membership for the remainder of the season and I'm weighing my options. Disclaimer that I don't have the budget for a private club and am only considering the following options:

- Kaneff Klub @ Carlisle

- Tyandaga

- Pineland Greens

- Hidden Lake (clublink, but not "real" clublink, membership applies only to Hidden Lake)

I won't go into detail about the specifics of each membership's benefits, because they're all roughly similar in value and I'm new to the area so I'm mostly interested in peoples' experiences at these clubs, how the courses play, the club culture, etc.

I intend to play all 4 before making a decision, of course.

First trip to Canada

Have just booked a first ever trip to Canada from the UK - will be with the wife - but I’m the only one that golfs. I’ve gone and booked the following as part of our little tour - we are in Vancouver 2 nights at start and end and then go out and about …

  1. BIg Sky
  2. NIcklaus North
  3. Tobiano
  4. Predator Ridge
  5. Tower Ranch

I’m happy to play with others - so have booked as a single but will phone up each club to make sure I get joined with people !

Thoughts on the clubs chosen ? And it’s not meant to be golf holiday ……

Power Golf custom fitting on Glendale Ave (St. Catharines)

Anyone maybe know what’s going on with Power Golf on Glendale Ave in St. Catharines?

Google shows it as permanently closed, and their website isn’t working.
