Lost my boys within 5 months of each other

Titus passed away on 12/15/2025 due to congestive heart failure. He had been on medication for over a year, but it stopped being effective. He was 9 year, 9 months and 4 days old. He was the mischievous clever one who figured out how to open the gate door. I had to add addition counter measures to stop him from getting out. Titus' personality was: "I love everyone and everyone needs to love me!"

His brother and litter mate, Rocco, passed away on 5/20/2026. He had developed a lump on his back they were going to investigate, but his health took a sharp sudden decline before they could start. He was 10 years, 2 months and 9 days old. Rocco was the consummate guardian. He ran to every sound first and Titus would follow. Rocco was the biggest daddy's boy. In contrast to Titus, Rocco's personality was: "I love my daddy and tolerate everyone else."

Since covid, I transitioned to working from home. I have spent more times with these boys than any previous pets and for that, I will feel forever fortunate. When Titus passed, I left his bed where it was. Rocco missing his brother would alternate between his bed and Titus' bed at night.

I knew their life expectancy is between 9-12 years, but losing both within five months of each other just doesn't seem fair.

Whoever suggested this, THANK YOU. Total game changer.

Whoever suggested this, THANK YOU. Total game changer. My dog has been extra restless lately with the crazy weather shifts, and nothing seemed to keep her busy for more than a few minutes. This kept her focused for so long, and she actually looked satisfied and calm afterward. I’m honestly impressed.

Phantom pregnancy

Meet Eowyn 🥰 she is a year and a half and she had her second heat cycle around 2 months ago. She has been having phantom pregnancy symptoms. (Whining, being glued much more than normally to me, taking 1 particular toy everywhere even to my bed which she never does, and now her nipples are a tiny bit swollen, sometimes she skips a meal ehich is weird she loves eating) Has anyones corso had this before? Google says it'll prob pass in a few weeks but I am curious if this is common?

"Puppy acne" at 8 months

Anyone else dealing with this with their Corso? This is our second time, and it's worse than the first. He's got an appointment on the 26th to talk about a longer course of antibiotics. I'm doing the antiseptic wipes with a benzoyl peroxide cream rinse, I'm doing what I'm supposed to, but it's not getting better, it's actually getting worse. Just looking for some advice.

Experienced cane corso owners opinions and advice wanted.

Mr.Bigglesworth is my first corso and I just wanted some feedback on how he is filling out. He is 30.7 inches tall and 33.8 inches long 128 lbs 1yr 4months old intact. I feed him as much as he wants which rounds out to about 10lbs dry kibble and a half of roatisery chicken, handful of beef suet, plus treats and part of anything I try to eat a day lol but I have had lots of dogs and not a one has ever demanded this much intake is this normal? Will it taper off at some point or continue increasing with his size? thank you for any feedback.

Do I need a bigger car for a corso?

I want a cane corso within the next year or two but I currently drive a Honda Civic Hatchback. Do I need to upgrade to a bigger car so I can fit a crate in the back, or do you all think it’s okay to put them in the backseat with a rigid seat cover and crash-tested harness?

Ultimate dog mobile?🐶🐾

What car unexpectedly became PERFECT for your dogs? I have a Cane Corso + Beagle combo and now I’m curious what vehicles other dog owners swear by.

Sasha’s infant pix!! (74 mos old)

Making up for lost time. Sasha took her infant blanket pictures today. (Never mind the white in her beard. 🤪)

Meet Bogey!

Hey people! My husband and I rescued Bogey when he was about 5 months old, Do you think he’s a Cane Corso or a pit bull?

Rescued a Cane Corso mix

We’ve rescued this lovely, sweet boy. The poor bugger has been through it though. Passed from pillar to post, massively underfed (he’s just skin and bones) and beaten to the point he needed staples in his head!! Here’s how he looks now, utterly disgraceful but we will soon have him bulked up.
