Getting bogged out on trying to get the Platinum Trophy

I’m on 33 out of the 50 fully restored cars right now. I played this game for around 100 hours just normally before realizing that without fully restoring every aspect of a car it didn’t count toward the 50 I needed. I’d likely be missing a part here or there or a single body panel would be at 99%. I’m at 33 right now and just looking to finish. What car can be torn down and fully restored the fastest? I’ve been doing electric cars since there is less parts in their motors than most engines.

I am making a mod by Gozzy

Hey, a new modder on a wire. I am writing to tell that I got tired of dreaming about Nissan Skyline GTR R32 in CMS 2021, and decided to import it from 2018 (it exists there). The mod is made by famous modder, Golly (misspelled it in the title 😅) and I hope they are not against it, if so, please DM me 🙏.

What started as a "haha, let's see what I can do" is now a two months, half ready mod. I use AI (ChatGPT and Gemini) to help me with it. I have never modded. Ever. This is my first time, though I knew CMS is quite "easy" to mod. If someone has any suggestions, questions, I will be happy to respond.

And please, please, please, please, Golly. If you are reading it, or you can contact them, please tell that I appreciate the work and just want to make the game a tiny bit better. Thank you.

8.4s 1/4 mile EVO X

This one went way above my expectations lads. Paid over 2k scrap to get the vital parts upgraded but when done, the dyno measured 1375hp of power! Won over 50k already in the 1/4 championship, and runs the race track at 1m25s.

There is still some juice in it when I bother upgrading all the ignition and spark plug parts but I'm done salvaging for now.

The base car comes from the mod (no DLC needed) and spawns as K.S edition. A real gem.

How do you guys gain 100% or near 100% tuning?

I have crammed performance parts into vehicles, tuned the ECU's and/or carburetors, but I still can't achieve 100 or near 100 percent tuning. What am I doing wrong and what shoul I do?

I've created a mod to adjust a vehicle's camber, toe, and offset!

“Wheel Stance Slider” is a mod I created using Google Antigravity (an AI development tool).

With this mod, you can customize the camber, offset (spacers), and toe of your wheels symmetrically in real time within CMS2021. To prevent issues on the circuit, this tool is designed so that visual changes are applied only within the garage. It features a function that lets you easily inspect the car by switching the camera view with the F10 key, full keyboard control, and the ability to save settings permanently—automatically associated with each license plate.

Unfortunately, ride height adjustment isn’t possible with this mod; you’ll have to create a config in the Car Editor.
Since I was finally able to implement a feature I’d always wanted, I thought I’d share it with everyone.

I play on xbox series x, and im trying to find the most valuable dlc car. I tried googling, but all I get is mod cars value. Can anyone tell me what the car with the highest sell value is from the dlc on xbox?

CMS2021 won't let me install the correct part on my engine

I was doing a story order, pulled out the engine, put it on the stand, when I went to install the intake manifold (that I bought before I started taking parts out), it wouldn't let me install it, but when I went to the main shop and bought the exact same part in my inventory, it suddenly let me install it. I don't have any photos because I already completed the order.

The same thing happened with the throttle too.

I do believe that it was the story mission that required the paint shop because a kid crashed his dad's car.

Where are the remaining 4 Clip B parts on the Porsche 911 RS America (964)?

Hi everyone,

I'm restoring a Porsche 911 RS America (964) in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018.

My car is stuck at 25% Interior, and I can't figure out what's missing.

The only missing parts shown in the parts list are 4× Clip B. I already installed the 4 Clip B clips on the air filter box, so these must be for something else.

I also noticed that I can't find any more interior parts to install. Does anyone know where the remaining 4 Clip B clips are supposed to go, or if this is a bug?

Sorry if my English isn't very good. I'm Japanese, so I may have made some mistakes.

Issue regarding the V8 2carb OHV turbocharged engine

Hey fellow mechnics, this is my first appearance here and I need your help! I'm in a current situation of renovating an auctioned Edgewood Hellcat and I wanted to swap the engine for the V8 2carb OHV turbocharged because I heard it is the most powerful option but I ran into an issue. The game only allows me to use the 1carb intake manifold and not the 2carb one. What do I need to do?
