Yea so I just bought a 2007 Nissan maxima specifically for work and it works great and is in good condition. I was driving home and in a parking lot drove over a curb I didn’t see. The car rides pretty low and grinder the frame for sure a bit but I don’t have the expertise to be able to recognize anything serious or if I need immediate repairs. There weren’t any lights and I tried my best to look behind the wheels and I couldn’t see anything but like I said I don’t know. Any advice would be appreciated! If this car breaks I’m stranded in a state 1700 miles from home.

This 2001 is300 has been sitting in my garage for about 5 years, my family bought it new when they came out and used it as a backup car until 5 years ago where the engine overheated and the engine seized. It has 170k miles and I have always wanted to fix it but mechanics would quote me for a new 2k 2jz-ge engine which would like 6-8k. I’m wonder if you guys have any recommendations about how I could start looking into fixing this car myself. I am mechanically inclined and fix up motorcycles as a past time. Thank you!

How much will it cost to get this fixed? It is a 2017 Hyundai Sonata, hybrid SE.

I hit a deer and the front bumper trim has come off. Now I got these wires hanging out and each time I start my car it makes a noise for 10 seconds and then let’s out a hissing noise? Do I need a new compressor? And what happened to my horn, it a Mercedes S class 2017

Hi there,

I hit a piece of road debris with a two month old car that left a series of long scratches on the bottom of my rear passenger door. They catch with a fingernail so I assume they are down to the primer (or at least the base coat).

All things considered, I got lucky there wasn’t more damage. They are also well below eye level and not visible unless you are looking for them.

Is it worth trying to get these repaired? I’ve considered touch up paint, but with how low they are and my lack of a steady hand, that would likely turn into a nightmare even if it’s just some clear coat.

Right now I’m tempted to just leave them and add some spray wax after washing for added protection. My primary concern is potential for rust, not necessarily aesthetics given where they are.
