Do you think I will receive my cards?

The seller sent me a cancelation request the morning after my purchase claiming his girlfriend found the cards cute and the want to keep them after all.

Value around 25€ and without tracking

Professional buyers picking everything clean

Till a few months ago i had a system like offering a few staples below market price and everything else at or slightly over trend prices. Players building new decks or collections bought the "good deal" and filled up their carts from my inventory. Of course sometimes they scooped up only the bait, but overal this helped me selling at better margins and get rid of otherwise slower moving cards. Until recently.

Now every time i throw out baits they are getting bought up within 24h by professional sellers. It does not matter that it is five fairly specific cards used in five different decks, i guess the only thing that matters to them is resale value cause they do not buy matching cards with them. Private buyers who usuallly have done it in the past now cant even see the deals.

Do you see a trend in TCG resellers getting more aggressive lately with buying, or its just that im having some bad luck? Is there a way to exclude professional sellers from the pool of buyers who i want to deal with? I cant block them individually, there are too many of them and most of them have multiple accounts.

Long delivery times

Hello everyone,

I have been using cardmarket since 2024 (Yu-Gi-Oh! Specifically). Until Early April 2026, whenever a card was marked sent by the seller, it arrives almost always the next day at my home. But it has been six weeks since early April where the cards take a week after they have been marked as sent for them to arrive at my home which is really annoying. Has anyone been experiencing similar stuff? Or if there are some buyers here who could share why would they do this? For context, I live in Germany and buy only from German sellers.

Review

Hey, I have a question: someone in Italy ordered some cards from me here in Germany via Cardmarket. Now that the package has arrived, four cards are suddenly missing. I am 100% certain those four cards were inside—unfortunately, though, I don't have any proof. Now he has left me a negative review because I issued him a refund. Is there any way I can contact Cardmarket Support to ask them to remove the review, or is that going to be very difficult?

Order under investigation due to its high value

Hello guys, have you ever encountered that CM support opened support ticket and marked you order as Under investigation? They say it is because of the high value of the card.

I am the buyer and the card is around 800e. Already bought several high value cards, but this is the first time this happened, so i am quite stressing.

Did this happen to anyone?

New Button - Old Customs

Cardmarket has always been a haven for scammers—no extra button is needed. Let me explain it in two simple steps:

  1. You buy from a professional seller via standard shipping.
  2. You claim you never received the order.

It’s that easy. Cardmarket will force the professional seller to refund both the cost of the product and the shipping cost. In other words, you just got the product for free with free shipping. Cardmarket is wonderful!

Am I getting scammed?

Hi first time making a purchase on cardmarket, found this seller that seem legit and nice. But he wants me to confirm the cards arrival before even shipping it.

Context: is Im buying 2 cards off of him, he confirmed that Ill be refunded 20.90 EUR but something about trustee makes it difficult to send the product? I dont really understand, could a seller or someone more knowledgeable help me? Also do I have buyers protection in this case?

Received a fake card (tracked order)

I recently bought a card for about 50 EUR to, hopefully, complete a set, but that went completely wrong.

The card turns out to be fake. Incorrect holo pattern, the back of the card is wrong in terms of color, the card is too thin, and so on.

The seller insists that the card is authentic and that I don't know squat about vintage Pokémon cards. It was a respectful conversation in itself (with a jab here and there from the seller, but anyway), but it isn't going anywhere.

I have already contacted Cardmarket, so they will have to pick this up, but what is the actual procedure here if Cardmarket handles this?

Thanks

Logistics of selling an entire collection

A few months ago I started listing my collection of MTG cards on CardMarket and CardTrader.
I think I am around halfway through (around 5k cards) and I got a message from a store (700 positive reviews) that they would like to buy my entire collection, their offer is around 45% market price, 2000€ give or take.

I am tempted to accept, or at least bargain it up to 50/55% once I finish listing my collection, because boy is it a pain to sell them, but how do you handle a sale like that?

Like, how are you supposed to package thousand of cards for shipping?
How do I make sure the buyer won't just say X cards went missing or were never sent?

Should I drive there instead (it's a 4hour drive)? But I don't see the point unless we go through the cards together, which is gonna take hours, so I don't see it as ideal.

Has anyone gone through a similar process?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Since people are going to ask, collection is mostly bulk (rare, uncommon and commons, mixed sets), here is the distribution:
Max price is 30€, 190 above 5€, 110 between 5€ and 3€, 450 cards between 3€ and 1€.

But my main question is still about the logistics 😃

Buyer bought a card that didn’t “arrive”

A buyer bought a 50€ card with tracking and insurance only covers ~30€. Now the tracking says delivered to his mailbox like all tracked letters. Now he’s claiming it didn’t arrive… even if it showed delivered. He has 90+ orders with 3 orders not arrived.

So does that mean I lose the money and the shipping cost?

Update: buyer has BLOCKED me after receiving the card 15th of May and saying he never did and he checked with his neighbors etc…

Right of Withdrawal Button - Golden button for scammers?

Is it only me or making the withdrawal so easily accessible will me a heaven for buyers?

14 days after arrival for a TCG product?

That is way too much time for TCG product to get mishandled/bent, replaced with a fake, or just to be bought by multiple sellers and just to return the ones the buyer didn't like.

I've already had multiple orders that were "bought" and never paid for, so now the buyer can pay for them, wait for me to ship and just withdraw to cause more damage?

Rescue cat challenge is amazing

I had so much fun doing it, how did you guys do? If you don't want to say how much damage you made just say over 10k, over 20k, over 30k...

Suspected fraudulent buyer, what do I do?

Hello, I recently sold an expensive card GBP250, which I had purposefully priced much higher than everyone else (GBP50 above the next cheaper card).

Problem with the buyer is:
- new account made 14/5/2026, with only 12 purchases. It shows a German flag.
- address is a forwarding company address. Does this mean the address forwards to Germany?

What can I do to protect myself as a seller?

Condition check

Morning all - wanted some advice on what you think the condition of the card I purchased is.

Chatting with the seller at the moment who after a bit of back and forth is very helpful.

The card was sold as EX with a photo and a comment that the front is GD and the back is EX.

What I didn't notice though is that the front side had 5-6 pretty strong black streaks/marks.

Trying to figure out how this would be accurately sold in CM, then I can check corresponding prices etc. and find a good balance with the seller.

Thanks!

Figured how to add the photo:

Welcome to circus 🎪🎪

Here's the guide to getting free card.

In short:

  1. I'm selling a Japanese card in the only listing available in the US page (In the notes it was written JAP VERSION)
  2. The shipment is tracked as requested
  3. The buyer realizes he purchased the Japanese card when he opens the package
  4. He doesn't confirm its arrival
  5. He sends me the card back
  6. The package arrives empty (I made the video of the opening)
  7. CM washes his hands https://ibb.co/qLJT4Hsg
  8. I lost my money and card
  9. CM refunds the buyer

CONGRATULATIONS 🤝🙌 u/Cardmarket_Official

Buyer managed to choose international tracked letter despite being illegal since 2026. After explaining the situation he still refused cancellation, demanding the card. Support went completely silent. What to do?

First time as a seller having to deal with international shipping, from Italy to France. Contacted support 6 days ago to try to sort this out but still without an answer.

Someone on the internet suggested lying at the post office and send the card anyway. The card is somewhat valuable (30+ euros) so the possiblity of the shipping getting blocked or lost is making me nervous about taking a decision.

Should I ask the buyer to cancel once more, or just ignore the order? Thanks

Can anyone suggest me what's the best I should do?

I've made the purchase 3 days ago and everything went through fine. The seller had told me they're going to ship it either yesterday or today (Tuesday 19th) and now they send me this message:

Hey, just came back from the post office, and it seems polish post dont provide insured parcels with declared value to xxxxx :/ And using some services like UPS or DHL is stupidly expensive. I could use EMS, it would be like 12 eur more, let me know if you'd like to add those 12 euro, or we should cancel the deal.

Any suggestions what's the best I should do? Should I cave in and fork out these extra 12 euros or what?
