PSA: Cardmarket orders showing up with delay
DO NOT MAKE YOUR ORDERS AGAIN or you’ll end up with double the cards you need.
It currently takes some time between the order being made and the order actually showing up in your overviews.

The homepage is working fine, but try to look up any card and the site just endlessly loads.
Sold graded pokemon cards. Took pics of products and packaging. Buyer says i did not send the graded slabs and says i sent just normal cards. Vinted had an error and even though i paid for postage for them to be returened (which i knew i would not get the slabs but vinted said to do this). Buyer got refund. Customer service was awful. Buyers can keep doing this!
I recently sent a 50€ card to Denmark from Portugal, the option for insured goods Cardmarket insists on is no longer available since Jan. 1, so I sent without insurance. There's been no updates for a week, last one was "Shipment left origin country". I already contacted our shipping company they replied saying they are not responsible for out of country updates. Will I get any sort of compensation if it gets lost?
Literally half of the pokemon card lists just arent there anymore for me? Not showing up on google or when i search for them on cardmarket directly. I type in destined rivals and its just gone. Any help?
Has anyone experienced this on Cardmarket?
I tried buying the same card from 3 different sellers, one after another, using my Cardmarket credit. Each time I received a confirmation email saying the order was placed, and the card disappeared from the seller's listings.
However, none of the orders appear anywhere in my account. They're not in Unpaid, Paid, Cancelled, or any other order section. It's as if the orders don't exist, even though I received the confirmation emails.
Has anyone had this happen before? Is this a temporary Cardmarket issue, or should I contact support?
Someone messaged to see pics of a PSA 10 card i have listed at 900€, for me generally sending pics is a big waste of time for PSA cards, since the condition is guaranteed, but i did send it anyways taking my time thinking the buyer wants to see if i really do have the card and i’m not trying to scam, then after me sending the pics the buyer went on to offering 550€ for the card, i can’t lie i did get ragebaited and threw a tantrum, am i being trolled fr or people are like this on the platform?
why are you asking pics of a psa card, why are you asking pics if you don’t like the price, isn’t it better to not waste our time with pics if we can’t agree on the price, HOW IS 550€ OFFER OK FOR A CARD LISTED AT 900?
I AM THE LOWEST ON MARKET FOR A PSA 10 OF THAT CARD…….
Hi everyone,
I made a previous post about this, but I am posting again because I just want some clarity and reassurance from people who may have been through something similar.
I bought a Mega Charizard X ex 125/094 on Cardmarket for around €742 including shipping and Trustee Service. After comparing it properly with genuine Pokémon cards, it is clearly counterfeit.
It has no proper texture, the TM logo is much smaller, the Pokémon back font/colours are different, and it is missing the normal Pokémon wording at the bottom of the front border.
The seller is completely new on Cardmarket and has no sales yet. I opened a Cardmarket support ticket immediately, did not confirm arrival, and attached unboxing videos, photos of the parcel/card, seller photos, side-by-side comparison pictures, and videos showing the texture, TM logo, font, colours, and back-print differences.
The seller keeps denying that it is fake and is calling me a fraud, despite the evidence.
Has anyone had a similar counterfeit case through Trustee Service? Did Cardmarket refund you, did you have to return the card, and how long did it take before support replied and the case was resolved?
Hey there,
I recently bought a card around 215€ in NM Condition and it arrived today - took a video of the opening and you can clearly see damage on the Card Front Boarder (Scratch).
I havent confirmed arrival yet and contacted the seller (he is a commercial seller) to make use of the "Widerrufsrecht" (idk the english word for that sorry) since we both are living in the EU.
My biggest question is, cause i got no reply yet from the seller - who pays the back-shipping in such situations?
Hello guys, i have a little question.
So someone buyed a Lot of 10 cards from me. I counted and checked many times that i pack the right amount of cards before packing and everytime i counted to 10. So today he textet me that there are cards missing from tge Lot but i am 100% sure i sended him the right amount of cards. Is there anything i can/should do? The order is without trusteeservice btw.
Thank you!
Title edit: as a seller, not as a buyer, obviously
Hello,
I'm a private seller on cm and just sold a 100€ card, tracked.
Unfortunately, the buyer seems to have 6 not arrived purchases out of 110. It feels a bit much for me, and I wonder whether I'd be justified in wanting to cancel the order.
Would I be protected under cm rules if I sent it tracked and the seller tried to claim it didn't arrive or the letter was empty or whatever ?
Thanks for your answers !
I bought the Japanese minun card from raging surf relatively cheap (was offered for what the Korean one usually goes for). Shipped from Spain to Germany.
When I received the card I instantly saw it was the Korean one because of the different back side.
After a couple messages back and forth the seller now insists on sending the Japanese one and basically tries to spin it like I was scamming him.
Seller only has like 3 sales and the only non Spanish card he was/is offering is Korean..
I opened a support ticket like 10 days ago. Is it normal to wait this long?
Also is there a way to see pending tickets?
Hello!
Someone bought an expemsive card from me but the user has no sales nor purchases.
Is it safe to ship it using tracking and cardmarket's "insurance"? It is from Germany to Germany. Do you have any experience?
I have 300 sales but not that expensive.
Thank you! ❤️
I prepared and organized my new binder with all the cards I want. But I want to buy them all at cardmarket instead of ripping boosters. I have lots of cheap Japanese cards I want but after reading this reddit I'm honestly scared to buy anything from this site.
Unfortunately all the cards I want are scattered trough various sellers and it's nearly impossible to buy more than one card from each seller. Is it considered bad etiquette? I will have tons of letters containing one to three cards...and reading all the past posts I'm scared none of them will arrive. Yes they are mostly cheap cards but at the end it will cost around 165€ scattered in almost empty letters.
Hi, I’d be interested in your assessment of who is in the right here and how you think Cardmarket Support will rule.
For context: the buyer and the seller are located in Germany.
I ordered a Pokémon Charizard card on Cardmarket. Shortly after, the seller cancelled the order because, according to them, the card was no longer available. As far as I was concerned, that was the end of the matter.
A few days later, I received a letter in the mail containing a card from a completely different TCG. In the days that followed, I received no message from the seller, nor was there any indication that a mistake had been made; I therefore assumed the card had been sent intentionally—perhaps as a small gesture of apology or goodwill. Since I don't collect that TCG at all, I sold the card for €10, seven days after it arrived.
It wasn't until about seven days after I received the card that the seller contacted me, explaining that it had been sent by mistake and was actually intended for another buyer. By that time, I had already sold it.
I told him I understood the misunderstanding and was willing to find a fair solution. However, I don't feel I should bear the entire loss myself, given that the error originated with the accidental shipment and the lack of communication.
My problem is likely that I can't really prove I actually sold the card for €10. The seller probably thinks I simply kept it. He also claims the card is actually worth around €40. Since I know nothing about that TCG, I wasn't aware of that.
Honestly, I don't see why I should essentially gift him €30 now, considering the mistake was his fault and he didn't contact me until about seven days after I had received the card. How would you assess the situation? How would you act if you were in my shoes? And how do you think Cardmarket Support would decide in a case like this?
TL;DR: Buyer did not collect a tracked Cardmarket shipment from pick-up point. The parcel was returned to me and the cards were still okay, but the card prices had dropped during the process. Buyer had claimed they didn’t get pickup information and later said they didn’t want the cards anymore. I provided Cardmarket with tracking proof, pickup-point confirmation, screenshots and the buyer conversation. Cardmarket still cancelled the sale, fully refunded the buyer, and only gave me 10 € goodwill for shipping-related costs.
Is this normal? It feels like the seller carries the full market risk if a buyer simply does not collect a tracked parcel.
Worst part of it. Buyer has "outstanding" ratio and through whole process he didn't care at all he even clearly said there's nothing I can do to stop him
Ive been selling cards for almost 10 years now on cardmarket and i had to deal with some in my eyes annoying customer stereotypes. i would also be interested in your experiences :)
lets start small 😄
leaving cards in the cart for 12h+
asking where the card was printed because they only play with lets say cards printed in belgium. (i can lowkey understand that but asking it on a 20cent card is wild)
blocking cards in cart while asking for pictures. not once they really look every hour if the card is still in the cart
paid orders cancellation request if they havnt been shipped within 1 day.
trying to negotiate if they buy 2 cards or trying to negotiate if it is handled outside of cardmarket.
marking the card as arrived several days later even after writing about the arrival few days prior
now the worst
asking after ordering for pictures and they wont pay the order until they are satisfied with the pictures
I recently bought a 160 euro card on cardmarket and it got delivered today. When I got the letter the letter had a visual dent in it and the card was packaged very poorly. The seller put the card in a used and crumpled up penny sleeve (which was placed in the same orientation of the toploader) which he put in a toploader (that arrived with a big dent in it). This was just shoved into a envelope with some printer paper surrounding it instead of cardboard or a postcard (something sturdy which offers protection).
I tried to explain the issue with the seller and resolve it properly but now he is basically telling me that he didn’t package it properly because I chose the cheapest shipping option. This is something he in my opinion could have contacted me about before shipping the card out if this was a valid concern. The cheapest shipping option was a tracked letter that I paid 15 euros for but on the shipping label I can see that the shipping costs only were 3 euros.
I am off the opinion that I shouldn’t have to pay the shipping return costs seeing as it is his fault that he didn’t package the card properly which caused the card to arrive in a worse condition.
He now has become passive aggressive about the situation and says he will stop responding to my messages if I don’t chose one of his ultimatums:
-Get a 50 euro refund.
-Pay 20 euro in shipping costs to return the card to him.
I am severely confused what to do in this situation. Has anybody had a similar experience with a seller and if so how did you resolve it?
I just started selling pokemon stuff online and I just recieved my first order. The shipping being €1.93. I looked around the settings and it seems like I can't change the shipping cost?
This order requires a postal stamps for europe sending instead of just national sending.
The postal stamp alone costs me €3,2. Add the cost of the enveloppe which is like €0,2.
If I accept this order I will lose money?
I appreciate there are lots of these posts on here, but i’d really like some advice on how to proceed.
I opened a support ticket after buying a ‘NM’ card for €350 that came LP at best. I sent pictures to the seller who claimed that I had swapped the card and that wasn’t the card he sent. He refused to send me photos of the card beforehand and asked to communicate via Instagram not cardmarket.
He is a professional seller so I returned that card after support responded. The seller has now refused to collect the package. It got attempted to deliver but nobody was in (I got this via delivery update) & got sent back to the post office/customs. It has been there for approximately 5 weeks and he has not picked it up.
Cardmarket support told me to give him more time to pick it up and now have not responded to me in over 14 days, despite requesting various updates.
Can i escalate the support ticket? It’s now been open for nearly 9 weeks…
Can i legally report the professional seller? How do I do this?
Can i file a chargeback? I’ve never done this before
Thankyou in advance for any advice
