Tbox ultra 3.0 on new xpeng software update offset issue

I own the new carlinkit tbox ultra 3.0.

After xpeng g6 facelift system update the bottom shortcut bar of the car is always on in android auto... So the carlinkit system dont know that this bar is there and all the system apear to be vertically offset slightly below where it should be...

The screen is starting at the bottom behind the car shortcut bar... And it ends before it reaches the top of the screen. When i need to press somthing i have to press a little bit above the desired location...

There is somthing i can do ? I didn't find anything in the settings....

The box software is up to date.

Tried to activate Tbox ambient with Tmobile Sim. They said it is locked?

Can anyone please offer some advice on how to get data with a 2024 CarlinKit tbox ambient? I have the current Tmobile tablet plan with unlimited data and a physical Sim. I installed the Sim into the device. It shows the meid on my tmobile account and the device registers the Sim as tmobile. It just doesn't supply any data or connectivity.

I called Tmobile today and they said that the device is locked. Like it is a phone locked to a certain carrier. I'm not quite sure what to do next, because to my knowledge they should be 'unlocked' devices that can be used with any carrier?

Any tips would be awesome. Thank you.

Carlinkit 4.0 issues (cannot update)

I have recently purchased a Carlinkit 4.0, the reason I got this is because I have a 2017 Mazda 6 and with Android Auto they disabled the touchscreen, but Carplay still has it enabled. So I know that this runs AA through the Carplay protocol and was hoping to have it work.

For the most part, it does! But there are some issues I have found with it.

It's a bit laggy compared to wired.
The resolution is messed up so it's blurry and squished.
The command knob (Mazda's universal control for their head unit) has issues where some controls don't function.

The third issue is a major problem for me, so I figured I'd try to update the firmware, and I found that I have one of the modified ones that use the IP 192.168.50.100 instead of 50.2. and the settings are very limited.

I followed the steps to update the firmware but it doesn't seem to work (the red light doesn't start flashing at all)

The problem I see is that the build number is different than the firmware files I see online and I'm not sure how to decipher it.

I have attached a photo and would appreciate any assistance if possible.

Carlinkit 4.0

Hello Everyone, this is my first post here and i hope i can find some support

i bought a carlinkit 4.0 specifically for a new car that only supports wired carplay

Geely coolray middle east/Egypt

i'll attach a pic of the HU so that you know exactly which variant i have

and i need android auto.. and that specific model claims doing just that... no need for android box or extra functionality and wanted to keep things as simple as possible

anyway, device paired and connected successfully and everything was fine during a short test that i did

the next day, the sun was very hot and the car was parked in the sun, the device started disconnecting and reconnecting.. so i decided to visit the settings page and check for updates or see what can be tweaked there

no update found, unfortunately i don't have a screenshot from software details
but i thought it was a good idea to change wifi AP from 36 to 149

now wifi signal disappeared, Bluetooth still pairs / connects successfully but no wifi

tried multiple phones

most likely 5ghz wifi chip is missing or god knows what went wrong

now i am stuck, can't factory reset it, can't change the config back to default

also tried flashing firmware via USB with no luck

tried multiple versions from this link but the LED indicator reains solid red

nothing happens when i insert the USB in the carlinkit device

any ideas?

also any better devices available for that specific job (wired carplay to wireless AA)

Fixing Apple Carplay wifi adapter blocking apps

Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
Choose Action.
Search and choose Airplane Mode, set to On.
Search and choose Wait, set to 5 seconds.
Search and choose Airplane Mode, set to Off.
Choose Open App, search and choose the preferred ticket app*.
Go to the top menu (the little down arrow) if you want to give the shortcut a new name.
Go to the top menu again, choose Add to Home Screen, choose a proper color and symbol.
That's it. Should work with all wifi adapters.
* You can of course make this shortcut for all preferred apps that is blocked.
