Been seeing a lot of recent posts about how the mini ultra 3s people have been getting don’t have the same settings as what was shown on reviews. Asked Carlinkit representative about it and got the following responses (see images).

TLDR: Carlinkit support openly admitting they feel they don’t need to tell us if they change a product mid-cycle, and that removing features from a product is just “necessary for company’s development”.

I bought a Tbox Max, it came with a native app called “Mirror” preinstalled. I use it for a bunch of things and find it super useful. Very lightweight. No additional app required on my iPhone for it’s screen to be mirrored in my vehicle.

I love it so much, I purchased a second Tbox for my second vehicle, this time the Ambient. Was surprised to find that they both operate on Android 13 but the Ambient didn’t come with the Mirror app installed. I exported the apk from the Max and tried to install it in the Ambient. “App not installed as app isn’t compatible with your phone.”

So then I bought a tbox plus and, to my surprise, that didn’t come with Mirror installed either. Tried to import the APK and find that I’m getting the same message as the Ambient.

I reached out to Carlinkit support directly and was met with a cold and confusing response when asking if the app could be downloaded to the other devices, “No such app exists.”

Am I going crazy? All three devices are running Android 13. All three are 8GB / 128 GB. One of them came with "Mirror" installed from the factory, the other two didn't.

Is there a way for me to add this exact app to these other devices?
