Chances of ride/park closures on Saturday

I’m going to Carowinds on Saturday for the first time this Saturday, and the forecast looks like moderate rain all day Saturday. What are the chances the park will be closed? And if it doesn’t close, what are the chances the rides will stay open?

question about the offensive clothing rule

i have a tank top that i like. i’m very sensitive to both temperature and clothing so when i find a garment i like, i wear it a lot. however, my shirt says “wake up sluts it’s time to sin” in rainbow letters. would that be prohibited ?

Disability pass x fast lane

Me and 3 friends will be going on a trip to multiple parks on a trip this summer, and we were looking at getting fast lanes as we will only be doing 1 day at each park. If it matters, the parks are SF over Georgia, Carowinds, and King’s Dominion. One of my friends is disabled and will be getting a wheelchair and disability accommodations at each park. We don’t actually know that much about the disability pass right now or how it works either.

How do the passes mix?

Is it worth getting my disabled friend a fast pass or should we only buy for the 3 able bodied friends?

Best season pass deals?

Does anybody know when the best deals on season passes usually are? My home park Carowinds just announced a Memorial Day sale that doesn’t seem to save very much considering a gold passes is $105 with the discount and the were only $95 when I bought the last year during whatever promotion they were running. And it’s not even as much value since last year I got all-park access, and now it’s just regional. There’s also only a $4 discount for renewal of gold and silver, and no renewal discount for prestige which you now need for all-park access. Anyone know the best time to buy for next year?

Food at the park is expensive, but anticipating the rides makes tummy too nervous to eat anyway

Our family of 5 is visiting today, and we got 3 meal plans to share between us. I always share my plates with my 2 youngest kids, because my stomach is too nervous thinking about big rides and I end up have zero appetite all day lol I guess that’s my frugal tip of the day haha. Can anyone else relate?

How strict is the chaperone policy?

I (18m) want to take my brother (14m) on a surprise trip to the park this summer on a weekday. If we’re in the park all day and don’t cause any trouble, is someone going to say something to us?

I‘ve been to King’s Dominion without issue before just want to see if this is any different. Thanks!

GF broke up with me what can I do with her gold pass?

Like the title says I bought us and my daughter all gold passes with food and drink packages on the installment plan. Can I transfer her pass to someone else or am I stuck with it? I only owe two more payments so it's not a big deal financially or anything. I just don't want it to go to waste. She hated going so she doesn't want it fwiw. Thanks.

Ride loading/unloading efficiency

I love Carowinds. We take family trips to Disney each year, and I’m a Platinum Season Pass Holder at Carowinds, I have a pretty good baseline for comparison.

The layout, theming, cleanliness, landscaping, and overall atmosphere are all fantastic. Carowinds is, and will continue to be, a leading park in my opinion.
That said, there’s one area that could use some attention: ride loading and unloading efficiency. The transition time between finishing a ride and getting the next group on feels longer than it should. Part of this may come down to staffing — having a single worker responsible for both operating the ride and manually unlocking every restraint, especially in the kids’ area, is a lot to ask of one person.

I’d love to see Carowinds consult with outside agencies to help streamline this process. A few operational tweaks could go a long way toward improving the guest experience without changing anything that makes the park great.

Am I alone on this, or does anyone else notice the same thing?

Parking pass link?

Could someone please give me a link to where you buy a parking pass? I am going with my son's school on a trip to Carowinds this weekend and I have never been. Instead of riding the charter buses I want to drive my car and the band director told me I will probably need to pay for parking.

Are mini-backpacks allowed in?

I will be going to carowinds in the next 2 weeks and trying to get a little prepared! I was looking to bring a small mini backpack to carry some necessities, but searching up if bags are allowed or not I got some pretty mixed answers.
