Petition: Revise the eVED Taxation on Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEVs)
We call on the Government to revise the proposed eVED charge to prevent 'unfair' double taxation. PHEV drivers pay a flat 1.5p/mile even on petrol miles, where they already pay 53.95p/L fuel duty. We believe this discriminates against those who adopted hybrids in good faith to reduce emissions.
Bloody marketing wonks. You have one bloody job....
Picking up some new wheels and need to order a set of hub rings. Car is my daily and used in Autosolo events and some B road bashing. I've heard aluminium will corrode onto the hub versus plastic which may melt. Any advice appreciated
Hi friends! Here is my first video reviewing cars!I hope you guys like and comment and perhaps give me feedback on wat i can improve!Lets keep Roving
Hi,
Please assume I'm an idiot.
I bought my 68 plate Ford Fiesta second hand via private sale from a friend of a friend. The car specs are attached.
I don't have a service history beyond the publicly available MOT records.
I do 20k+ miles a year on my commute and am about to tick over 85k miles. My Dad is insisting that the car will have a wet belt and that it if it hasn't been changed before I need to get it done ASAP.
I've tried to research but am confused because it seems like 2018 was the cut off for when Ford stopped using wet belts in the Fiesta. It also seems like it's only the EcoBoost engines and I'm sorry but I genuinely don't know if I have one of those?!
Can someone look at the attached and advise. I don't want to call the garage and ask them to quote if it turns out I don't even have a wet belt 😳
I need group think on this. As an experiment I'll ask our yank brethren what they think as well.
Hi all, my Porche Taycan is getting repair after being rear ended. It's at a Porche (and other) approved repairer in Derby. When I track my car I see this satellite image.
Curious what you think some of these cars might be?
Anyone know what both these massively different vehicles are just at the lights…..
Answer: The Triumph Stag 1977 was designed for stylish long-distance cruising with a V8 engine, whereas the newer Chinese car is built for short city journeys at low speeds.
I’m looking at getting a custom RS flat bottom steering wheel to replace my regular, full circle one 🤣🤣
I drive an Audi A6 saloon and want to proper pink it out- but I’m wondering what people think about the practicality of it/maybe even costs of it?
Audi themselves won’t do it as it’s a custom and they only work with genuine pieces…. So idk where to really go for advice 🤣🤣🤣
Looking at buying it soon, keep telling myself even if I won’t use it this month or get it added now, I know I will one day… so it’s a great investment 💖
Dear all
Stupidly some superglue fell down on my car’s rear door, I tried to remove it immediately with some tissues but now small tissue parts are stuck.
Tried to remove it with hot water on microfibre cloth but not worked.
Any idea how to remove it?
Looking to buy “Autoglym tar and glue remover” from amazon and a car polish as well, will they help?
Can also consider buying painting pen from Amazon to cover the small tissue if above didn’t work.
Any advice is really appreciated 😊
Thank you!
