TT Panthere vs mini- help me decide

I really love the mini Panthere but wanted it in two-tone. I realized today they don’t make the mini in TT! Trying to decide between the mini SS (I love the gold mini but it’s out of my price range) or the TT small. They didn’t have those exact watches to try on at the boutique but I tried on a few for size.

Pictured: 1) mini gold 2) small gold 3) medium TT

My first Cartier

I know the Ballon Bleu does not get a lot of love here, but I think it’s beautiful. It was between this and the Tank, but my preference was for a round watch. I went for the 40mm, which was hard to get hold of as it was sold out everywhere. 36mm felt a bit too small for me.

How long does it take to get a black shiny alligator leather strap? (preferably with a double adjustable deployment buckle) Or where else should I go to purchase one.

I bought this cartier santos medium in July 2nd. It is August 19th and I've yet to hear back on any updates for a simple black leather strap. I'm starting to get impatient and I want it now. I also just found out that my AD just left the company. So at this point I give up. Do you guys have any recommendations on where to get a black shiny alligator strap with a double adjustable deployment buckle. Thanks.

First Cartier Purchase!

Just bought my first Cartier ring during my Paris layover! I’ve had the classic LOVE ring on my wishlist for a while, but I honestly wasn’t 100% sure I was going to buy it when I stopped by the Cartier boutique at Paris CDG during my layover.

I ended up having such a great experience that I went for it. The SA was incredibly patient and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Since this was my first Cartier ring, she walked me through everything and let me try on as many options as I wanted. She brought out different sizes so we could figure out the best fit and showed me the different metals so I could compare the white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold in person.

She was also super informative and explained things I wouldn’t have even thought to ask about, especially sizing and how things like swelling can affect the fit.
I ended up choosing the classic LOVE ring and I’m so happy with it. I really only went in to look since I had some time to kill during my layover, and somehow I walked back out with a Cartier bag lol.

10/10 experience at the CDG boutique. Such a fun and unexpected first Cartier purchase. ❤️

Do you wear your pave 24/7?

Ok guys! I did it! I pulled the trigger on a small yellow gold pave love bracelet. It had to be ordered so I’m waiting for it to arrive!!!

Just curious, would you wear your pave bracelet 24/7 (shower, sleeping, etc) like you would a classic love? I have a classic love bracelet that I haven’t taken off since getting it in 2019. I’m wondering if I can do the same with a small pave bracelet.

[Help with next buy] Cartier, Rolex or Chopard ?

Hello everyone, I know I’ve asked similar questions before but I discovered a new contender and wanted to get different opinions on it. So I’ve to pick between a Cartier Santos Dumont in Blue Lacquer, a Rolex dj 36 chocolate or a Two tone Chopard Alpine Eagle 41. This isn’t my final watch and I do plan on buying more in the future but for now, I just want something fancy. What do yall think ?

Joined the Santos crew today.

Spent the afternoon at a botique in Grand Cayman and walked away with a medium with a his and hers band. Great buying experience.

Anyone here with the new Roadster? How are you liking it?

Hi everyone,

Recently picked up the brand new Roadster Medium (07/2026) from r/watchexchange as a surprise gift for my wife after she gave birth to our second child. Unfortunately she saw it and pretty much immediately told me it wasn't her style.

I figured I might just keep it for myself, but I think I still prefer the Santos. I put the Roadster up posted on r/watchexchange for sales and will probably let it go if there's someone who's interested, but part of me is wondering if I should give it a chance first.

For those of you who bought the new Roadster, what made you go for it? And now that you've had it for a bit, what do you like about it the most?

Especially curious if anyone was deciding between this and a Santos. What made you choose the Roadster?

It's definitely a cool watch and looks pretty different from everything else Cartier makes. Just curious what Roadster owners think before I move on from it.

Thank for reading and your precious time!

Cartier Tank Must for Wedding

Hi all,

I was at the Cartier showroom the other day and was looking at the Cartier Tank Must. My wedding is coming up, and my fiancé wanted to get me this watch to commemorate the occasion. I wanted to get your thoughts on a few things:

  1. I think my preference is to wear it with a leather strap, as it would look nicer on my wedding day. The salesperson did tell me it’s a better idea to get the bracelet model and then get the leather strap separately as the bracelet itself is $2,000. Is that recommended or what have you all done who own this watch. Is it also easy to replace the strap/bracelet?

  2. Is this size good on me? This is a large size. I normally wear watches that are 38mm + in dial size and in circular shape. Getting a watch of this shape is new to me, but interested to try!

Why did the Drive fail?

The Drive is by far my favorite Cartier model and it was the one that brought me to the brand. I think of it as the Cartier for those that have never considered a Cartier, something to pull people into the brand. I thought it was going to be far more successful, but I guess it didn't connect. Why do you think it wasn't popular? Size? Maybe it was just too different?

Is it the right fit or too small?

I find it really comfortable wearing this size, but some of my friends say it looks feminine? Should I trade it for the larger size?

Mother in law's new watch

Got this Tank Must through Icybox after a couple of tries but the thing is that my wife has been talking about this watch that her mother has always loved. Well well well her birthday is this next friday and my wife has literally no idea I did this. If I dont forget I will try and record her reaction on this.

On love, two screws or the new hinge mechanism more secure?

Which is better for the bracelet? Also, is it harmful to take the bracelet off every few months or so? Reason is I do work travel and the industry I'm in it wouldn't always be appropriate to have on. Thanks!
