Hi, ordered my first Cartier Santos rep. Please help with QC, what are your thoughts?

Im a noob so i’d like to have your opinion.
Im looking to buy a BVF Santos Cartier XL for my birthday next week.

I wanted to get black Santos ADLC but each picture I saw of it, it felt like the date was not centered at all. Especially noticeable when its in 20’s, the second digit looks so not aligned with the 2.

So I looked for other colors in XL and it felt like they had the same issue with the date.

I’m wondering if I’m tripping or not, but I’ve read other people saying it too.

I think this is allowed in the rules (do tell me if not!) but selling my Tank Louis which I bought from Angela a few months back. Upgraded the strap to real leather (not sure OG one was) and worn it quite literally once.

So it’s immaculate. I have a standard Cartier Tank so thought I would branch out to a replica of the Louis, but I’m just not going to wear this colour scheme very often.

Gambled on a vendor I found on fb for this green Santos and he sent me pic with my name once he got it and shipped via USPS with tracking from HK; pretty happy with it so far. Do the screws on wristband all line up one direction normally? Seller told me that these aren’t fully waterproof tho when I asked and doesn’t recommend swimming with the Japanese movement I got (tho the case on back says 100 m lol). He said Swiss ones are waterproof/resistant, but I opted for the cheaper J movement since I didn’t wanna gamble too much. Anybody else found this issue? I wanna take it in shower at least.

Can anyone that has done it quite a few times help me with the QC for this Cartier Santos GF v2 (Andiot)!

Been burned before by sellers overpromising on factory claims, so I’m being extra careful this time. New seller for me — QuickTime — and they sent thorough QC pics including a timing machine readout. Dropping everything here for the community’s eyes.

What I’m seeing in the photos:

✅ Dial looks clean — Roman numerals proportioned correctly, “SWISS MADE” text in place at 6

✅ Blue sword hands appear well-finished

✅ Blue cabochon crown looks right

✅ Bracelet screw-links consistent, no obvious misalignment

✅ Case back engravings present (4614671 / DEC 19 / AUTOMATIC / WATER RESISTANT 100m)

✅ Quick-release interchangeable strap system included — comes with tan leather AND dark navy strap + tool

✅ Deployment clasp with Cartier logo visible

⚠️ Hard to judge dial text weight and case finishing polish/brush contrast from photos alone — need community input here

Questions for the community:

1.	Is this actually BVF or could it be mislabeled? Any tells from the photos?

2.	+11s/d — normal range for this movement or worth asking for a regulation before shipping?

3.	Anyone with experience from QuickTime? First time buying from them.

4.	GL or send it back?

Total paid: $492 shipped. Fair price for BVF Santos or did I overpay?

Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A (no date wheel on Tank Must)
Hand Alignment: Looks good. Hands appear centered and proportionate with no obvious alignment issues.
