Does Oceanus T200 have the Premium Production Line Certification?

Hi Folks, just received my T200 and after connecting to the application, realised PPL certificate doesn’t show up.

Anyone who owns one, could you clarify if that’s indeed the case. And also where do I register the watch?

Guys guys! There is no crystal on this thing!

I just bought this T4000. I'm loving it so far. What a beautiful dial! And I have not seen a better AR coating on any watch.

Stupid me scratched the bezel while sizing the bracelet though.

Need help deciding between the s200 and s2000

I’ve been researching the Oceanus line for a while and narrowed it down to two options. I’ve normally been firmly on the clean dial side for most of if not all of my watches. But I can’t describe why, the manta series has been the only chronograph I find myself drawn to. Theres just something about it. I certainly don’t mind a larger watch and would definitely get use out of a chronograph. The decision comes entirely down to aesthetics. Please let me know why you went one way or another!

Edit: typo on the title. I meant T200 and S3000

OCW-S7000 Rubber Strap Swap

Hello everyone! I recently swapped straps with a new rubber strap from Delugs. This one in particular is the waffle CTS rubber strap. I’m pretty happy with the new look I might get a grey color next. Ended up getting black strap first to match dial. This is the 20th anniversary Oceanus pretty much the only watch I wear now lol rubber strap is so comfy and light! The buckle is also made of titanium. Lug size is 21”

T200 1 hour fast?

So the other day I travelled from Indiana to Illinois and pulled out the crown 1 click to change the time zone, which worked great, then when I got back to Indiana I changed the time zone again. Where I am in Indiana it's -5 UTC standard time and -4 UTC during DST.

When I woke up in the morning my watch was running 1 hour behind.

As you can see from my photo, time change is set to AT and time zone is set to -5. I can only get the time to actually work properly if I manually turn on DST.

I do not use Bluetooth, only automatic radio.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Looking to buy T200

Hey guys, I’m looking to buy a t200 with the dark blue dial. Just figured I’d check here to see if anyone had one they were wanting to part ways with?

How do you get your Oceanus outside of Japan?

I've been looking at a few Oceanus watches and they look really cool! Unfortunately for us who do not live in Japan (not have planned a trip there in the foreseeable future) the only options to purchase seem to be second hand watches on Chrono24 or resorting to relatively obscure websites like Ippo-Japan, Sakura, or others that come up in Google but frankly I don't have experience with them to trust them.

For those of you who have pulled the trigger from outside Japan, what service did you use?

How "flashy" is the bezel on the S400 in blue?

I've been looking into the S400 for a while now, and after comparing it a lot of alternatives at it's price range, I'm feeling confident it's the right pick. My only dilemma at this point is picking the colour! This is trickier than usual because I can't try the watch on in person.

I've been leaning towards the blue (as pictured) but there's limited photos / videos of it online. I'm curious if anyone who owns one could give me an idea of how "flashy" the bezel is? Is it constantly flashing bright blue as you move your wrist? Or is it just at specific angles? It's between this and the obviously more subdued black at the moment.

I'd also be super appreciative if anyone was willing to share some pics / video in natural daylight.

Used S100 Crown Not Working

Recently received a S100 used and was very excited however it seems the crown encoder is maybe shot. When I pull it out and spin there's no feedback and the second hand doesn't move at all. I saw some people say I can ship it to Casio in NJ to repair but wanted to know if anyone has advice or not. I got it off eBay so I can probably return it if need be.

Thanks for any advice!

Edit: I messaged the seller to see what they say I did manage to pop the back off and carefully touch the correct contacts in order to get the watch to the correct time zone and then force a radio sink so it has the exact correct time now, at the very least this makes the watch wearable and usable which is all I really want it to be, though I may still send it out to get fully repaired.

[Recommendation] Deciding Between Three JDM Radio Watches

I’m deciding between the following:

  1. Citizen Attesa BY1001-66E
  2. Casio Oceanus OCW-T2600RA-8AJF
  3. Casio Oceanus OCW-T4000A-1AJF

I’m mostly concerned with how these watches feel in the hand and while operating (e.g. bracelet quality, pusher action and feel, crown operation).

Would anyone who has had experience with these models be able to shed some light on the subject or make a recommendation?
