So I was just wondering, I have over 40 watches and it got me thinking, how does everybody choose which watch they are going to wear for the day? I know we have different watches for dress and ones for specific purposes, but how do you decide on a daily watch if you have multiple?
The only thing better about finding ONE classic G-Shock marked down at Walmart..... Is finding TWO classic G-Shocks marked down at Walmart. Happy holiday for me!
I’m not a huge fan of digital watches, I used to think that they looked childish but lately I’ve been seeing the a158/168 show up a lot on my various social media feeds and it’s really starting to grow on me. That being said, I’m not the biggest fan of square/rectangular watches and I already have an Apple Watch (I know, I need to watch my profanity). Help me rationalize why i should take the ~$40 plunge and give the a168 a chance
I spent the weekend going to yard sales and today the flea market hunting for Casio treasures. I only came across two in both were pretty trashed... But at the last booth in the flea market was an old lady with typical old lady flea market stuff.... But she had two jewelry boxes stuffed with old ladies jewelry in one and the other had some men's stuff which I assume must have been her husband's..... Unfortunately no Casios..... But I found this gem from Protime which they only made in 85 and '86.... She said her husband called a James Bond watch....lol. spent some time cleaning it up and it took me a minute to wake up the LCD screen but it's one of the sharpest screens I've seen on a vintage digital watch..... We would have like this when I was in the army.... Because you could give your buddy the time and light his cigarette. It doesn't have an electric backlight.... But who needs it with this. This is a keeper..... And I love the graphics... So '80s

r/WatchOnWrist is my Casio DUR-200H (unofficial) morning walk with the dogs.
Man I think if I were sharing this with anyone else they might think I have a problem.. I might, but its better than the smoking and drinking problem I used to have. I am how ever keeping way better track of time these days.
The 5 up top are the dedicated Monday through Friday work watch rotation so those stay in a separate easier accessible case. The F91W are my pajama watches I rotate each night.
My wife doesnt even really think I am that crazy, so thats a big win in my book.
