Friendly Robber “rule” online has gotten out of hand.
I started playing Catan on the iOS app again after a long time. It seems like EVERY single game, I am public enemy #1 for using the robber. The most unhinged shit I’ve experienced was when I had 2 points, and my opponents both had 6. I robbed one of them, and the rest of the game they ganged up on me. Even when one of them was at 9 points, the other dude threw the fucking game bc he was so mad at me lmao.
I just finished a game where this guy was having a full blown meltdown in the chat, telling me I’m the “worst kind of player” for using the robber… but we ALL HAD 5+ POINTS and it was literally the fourth 7 that I rolled.
When is it appropriate to use it? Why are people like this?? /rant
