odds are we'll never interact again after this post. no names. no history. Just two strangers sharing a few seconds on the internet. If you could leave one sentence behind for a random stranger to remember for years, what would it be?

What event seemed completely normal to you at the time but thinking back on it, you realise it was absolutely unusual?

For me it was during COVID. I was still working as construction and maintenance never really stopped. Abseiling down a 52 floor building to replace a broken window and I got stopped by a person on about floor 30 or so. They were able to open their window (which is unusual itself for a high rise building), and asked if I wanted to play a game of chess. We had time to waste, so a few games of chess, cards, and cup of tea later we are finally ready to put the window in.

Was much more exciting than the window install!

Tell me something you do to break the ice and start a conversation

I am open minded and funny easy going and it’s kinda a bummer that here it demands a lot of descriptive information. But as a matter of fact I like cyberpunk and I am a writer on my spare time. I like dancing and I work in petrol industry.

What is the coolest/best/most interesting item you’ve ever scored at a yard sale, thrift store, or flea market? (Bonus point if you want to include how much you paid for said item.)

Anyone else just feel like having a real conversation?

I am 40M, and just looking for someone to talk to. I'd rather hear about your life, the choices you've made, the lessons you've learned, and the experiences that shaped you.

If you're around 30 or older and enjoy genuine conversations, I'd be happy to talk.
