What would you do if you were suddenly transported to the Roman Empire ?

(Before the fall of the Western Roman Empire and during the Pax Romana)

Would you simply seek to survive, or would you try to rise as a merchant, senator, or emperor and attempt to implement your modern ideas? And what would you do with your knowledge?

What oddly specific MINUTE/SILLY thing would you tell your younger self to expect as an adult?

Ppl always ask "what would you say to your younger self" and it's usually this big grand life advice but what like hyper-specific, tiny silly thing you would tell your younger self?

For me:

*you'll still be buying Maybelline Great Lash bc it works

*you'll devour hundreds of books a year bc you can get them on your phone and you don't have to keep getting in trouble at the library

*boring shit is OK and really, you kind of want a quote-unquote boring life
