Cedar Park 24M Looking to connect with Cedar Park/North Austin residents

Hey everyone! I recently moved to Cedar Park and I'm looking to explore the area. I'm a big fan of adventure and action movies and am always looking for recommendations. I also enjoy playing pickleball, grabbing a good cup of coffee, and going on casual runs (even though I'm not very fast). If you're interested in meeting up for a game, a run, or just to chat, let's connect!

Please help me pick an OB-GYN at ARC Cedar Park!

Hi! I’m a first-time mom and live in Leander, so ARC Cedar Park is very convenient for me. I’d love to hear about your experience with their OB-GYN team and delivery.
Which OB did you see, and would you recommend them?
Since the on-call provider may deliver your baby, how was your experience with the overall ARC OB team?
Which hospital did you deliver at through ARC?
How were the labor & delivery nurses, postpartum care, lactation support, and NICU (if your baby needed it)?
Overall, would you choose ARC Cedar Park again?(or should I look into st David North AAOBGYN)
I have Meritain Health insurance and have already met my deductible this year, so if you have the same insurance, I’d also love to know if there were any unexpected maternity or hospital charges.

Where is everyone?

I went with my family to the neighborhood pool expecting it to be packed. There was only one other family. Then we went to The Crossover for the 4th of July Fest. Similar vibe.

Where is everyone?

Spiciest dish in Cedar Park?

Politely, please no ‘I hear this place is spicy’.

I’d like first hand experience from people who eat needlessly hot food every day of a specific dish that made you cry.

Party neigbor

A young guy in his early 20s moved in couple months ago and he started to party every Friday and weekend to a point where it’s driving me crazy. At first he stopped the music around 8pm and now he blasts it till midnight during weekdays and weekends. I can hear the sound throughout my house and it’s so loud I can’t rest. Last week he was blasting the music throughout the night and stopped when he went to work. I can literally hear every beat of the music. I want to have a good relationship with my neighbor so i haven’t complained yet but can anyone give me suggestions to solve this? I also don’t want to be that one karen in the neighborhood that complains about everything.

About to move here, where should I go?

Hi! I’m a 22F and i’m just moving to Cedar Park. I know the title is very vague but i’m moving from San Marcos and want to meet other women around my age.

In San Marcos, there was an art club I would go to at a beer bar, I’m trying to find something like that. If not, are there other chances for camaraderie for women around my age?

Any pool bars in the area that people like?

New(ish) to town and need vet recommendations

We moved to Cedar Park back in January from Missouri and our pups are due for their annual exam. We would also like to get one of our dog’s teeth cleaned. In Missouri a dental cleaning cost around $200, anywhere in town like that?

Thank you!

3rd spaces for tweens?

My kid's friend and he have been meeting up every Sunday for about 5 years. We used to just go to McDonald's and the mom and I would chat while the kids played. But now they're nearly teenagers and have outgrown "playing" at McD's. We've taken them to the mall to let them walk around, and we've met at places like Lakeline for the splash pad.

Is there anywhere in Cedar Park/Leander where a couple of older kids could hang out and a couple of moms could visit while the kids were doing their own thing?? Specifically, I'm looking for something indoors for those many days that it's too hot to be outside if not in the water.

CP Target Police

Edit: CP = Cedar Park…🤦‍♀️. Some of you spend too much time on the internet 🙄

Sitting at Target pick up on Sunday around 430-5pm and a total of 5 police cars show up. I feel like every time I go to CP Target there’s police now. What in the world is worth stealing at Target that would warrant FIVE police cars with lights?

There was a huge group of teenagers off to the side of the entrance.

Good place to catch the sunset?

Curious if anyone had any ideas on where to catch the sunset in cedar park or nearby. No, I’m not looking for the Oasis.

I was thinking about one of the 80s neighborhoods parallel to 620 near the rusty water tank. With a graduated filter on my camera lens, I’m guessing the silhouettes would be kind of cool. Open to suggestions!

Cedar Park Barbershop - price increase ?

Just wondering if Cedar Park Barbershop is trying out some dynamic pricing or if they straight up increased their cuts by $10 in one go ? Just looked them up and it’s $50 for a cut now 😖

injera & beyond

My fiancée and I went on a date night to a new spot we’ve been meaning to try and omg I’m so mad it took us this long to try it! Injera & Beyond on Whitestone is incredible, $45 for the plate for two we shared, and the salads were around $7 each (tomato salad was kinda spicy, lentil salad was very spicy). The staff there is so kind and was very helpful with making recommendations. We are obsessed w this place, give it a try if you know you like Ethiopian food or are open to trying new things.

Bonus, mostly everything is gluten free

Pickleball Fans? Interested in splitting Apex couples membership?

Hi pickleball players,

It's pretty hot outside (especially after work), so I've been trying to find indoor places to play pickleball. Other days, if the wind is high, it really messes up the play.

I currently have a single membership at Apex Pickleball Club & really love the social aspect of the game. I've meet many people there and most have been there from the beginning. The facility is the best in all of Austin - trust me, I've tried/been to them all. If you've never been, I would highly recommend checking it out.

Anyway, I was hoping to split the "couples" membership with someone (each person would pay ~$125/month + tax).

It's equivalent to all other indoor places in Austin, but worth it if you play often. I personally don't pay for other things like gym memberships or eating out often, so I don't mind cost. Would love to find someone whose planning to stay as a member for a while; not just a few months.

PM me if there is any interest and we can coordinate.

Spectrum Internet ONLY going up $10 July 15th

so, on the bill it says that spectrum internet only is going up $10 on july 15th

if you have internet only what plan are you on and how much does it currently cost.

also, have starlink sats for backup on standby.

SL full residential service is $130 which is definitely more then paying now for cable.
