Hi guys, I'm opening a new coffee shop in Cedar Park. Any recommendations for wholesale pastries? Reached out to Sour Duck and they don't deliver to CP. Also heard nice things about Texas French Bread.

For fresh dairy - whole milk/reduced fat milk/half&half/heavy cream, I know some shops do milk runs at Costo or HEB curbside. Any other ideas/suggestions? Thanks and appreciate it!

Just found this link where it lists which produce is locally sourced. You just need to change the store selected to your local one. I've only tried it using in store mode. I was worried about where some leafy greens came from before I use them but now I know it should be fine.

An apartment complex is asking me for a photo/copy of my social security card, which I find pretty strange….

The application already has my social security number, and I used my passport card as my identification, as well as provided my 3 most recent check stubs for proof of income.

You can’t get a passport without a valid SSN, and they already have my paycheck stubs which also show I have a valid SSN, and I have been with my employer for about 5 years.

Is this standard for apartments in cedar park? This isn’t my first apartment, and I have never ever been asked for a copy of the card

what actually happens: we grab a table, order drinks/food/whatever, and just... hang out. no pressure on alcohol or eating—most places have solid non-alcoholic options. sometimes we play board games, sometimes we just vibe. you can show up late, leave early, whatever works for you.

do we just talk about reddit? nope—reddit barely comes up! we chat about music, movies, work, hobbies, whatever. plenty of people here don't even use reddit.

discord stuff: we have a private discord to keep things going between meetups. if you come to an event in person, just ask me or anyone else for an invite. once you're in, there's trivia nights, karaoke, potlucks, smaller hangouts throughout the month—all member-organized.

one rule: this is an inclusive space. no hate, no discrimination. period.

Twin creeks and the southern part of Forest Oaks, without the rear garages, stood out for different reasons, though pricey.

From builder quality, neighborhood amenities, schools, to highway access let's hear the best neighborhoods to buy in.

Why is it that after at least four years of lowering property taxes, the first thing this almost brand new city council does is increase property taxes? So much for them wanting affordable housing.

My partner plays D&D/role-playing games online with some friends on the West Coast. So every week or so he has a call that runs very late into the night (they're two hours behind us) and his office is right beside our bedroom. I have a sound machine, but I can hear him and it keeps me awake. So we're wondering if there is someplace that's open late at night where he might be able to set up his laptop and be able to enjoy a couple of hours without my having to "enjoy" it, too, since my day starts much earlier than his usually does. Thanks for any ideas!

I’m trying to get a small DND/board game group up and running right here in cedar park. I am hosting it at my apt for now, so I’m looking to have at most 6 players including myself.

I’m 30f and have played DnD 5 and 5.5e for a few years. I do have cats at home that are very friendly, but I also have air purifiers running all the time. I love plants and arts/crafts. My partner is a tech worker. We are both childless nerds in search of some friends.

I work at a tattoo shop here in cedar park and we’re looking for a few vendors to join us during our next flash event on Sept 12th. Looking for vendors who have oddities/ spooky art, alternative jewelry, maybe even some vintage clothes rack, plant/ flower stand, stuff like that. You’ll be outside but in a covered area. Starts at 12pm, not sure of the end time yet.
