how strict is centennial pn compared to rn programs?

i just got accepted into the centennial PN program and i’m trying to decide if i should accept it or go into business instead.

for context, i was previously in a nursing program at another school and i failed the same first semester foundations/lab course twice. i was always just below the passing cutoff and i did better on the final the second time, but it still delayed me a lot and honestly made me really anxious about nursing school overall.

i wanted to ask current/past PN students:
what are the passing grades like in the program?
is it the same strict passing requirements as regular RN programs or a bit more lenient?
are the lab/skills evaluations really hard to pass?
do you feel like the program is manageable if you put the work in even if you struggled before?

i genuinely still like nursing and want to continue but i’m scared of ending up in the same situation again so i just want honest opinions 😭

RPN to RN Bridge Fall 2026

Heyy! I got accepted in RPN to RN Bridge Fall 2026 but I found it weird they didn’t ask me for my CNO registration.

For anyone that applied, were you asked for your CNO registration? What was the application process like in the program?

*I know someone whose offer of admission got revoked for Fall 2026. So I’m scared Centennial made a mistake with their offer of admission to me and revoke my offer too.

Hospitality - Hotel Management (Online)

I'm 46 and looking into options to return to school to improve my employment prospects. One of the options I'm considering is the Hospitality - Hotel Management (Online) diploma, and I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who has experience with it.

How did you find the course load and schedule? I assume that since it is synchronous, you are expected to be present for Zoom classes a certain number of hours per week. How did you find that experience? And aside from being present for online lectures, is there much in the way of group work/projects or are they mostly independent?

Also specifically in regards to the first term course HOSP-102, the course description states there will be both online and practical training for the First Aid/CPR certification. How does the practical aspect work for students in the online version of the program? Are they expected to be able to make it to campus for some sessions, despite the program supposedly being fully online?

In regards to the work placement in the second year, is that something that the college arranges or are you expected to find one yourself? And are they restricted to locations within the GTA? I live in the KW area, which is why I'm looking at the online program rather than the in-person option. Commuting to somewhere in the GTA for a work placement wouldn't be impossible, but it certainly wouldn't be ideal.

Finally, how worthwhile did you find the program overall? Was it actually helpful in finding a good job?

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any help!

I have an average of 82% for my top six grade 12 marks, will I get accepted into the BScN program at Centennial or no? And is it too late to apply now even though the website shows domestic applications are still open? how long will it take to get an offer if I apply now?

Mycreds - Has anyone sent their official transcript to TMU

I requested an official transcript on MyCentennial, got an email from MyCreds and chose TMU from the drop down list for my official transcript to be sent to. Now what? Like it shows that I have successfully sent it, but how do I know if TMU has received it?
