What could have happened?

What could have happened? I fired it at 1050 and nothing happened, the red color remained. I painted it again and fired it at 1250... but this is the result: sandy (maybe I contaminated the brush with Lava paint... but it seems strange that it didn't vitrify). Does anyone know if it could have been burned from firing it twice? Even after glazing it a second time?

Looking like a psych rock album cover

Same glaze, different thicknesses. Obsessed with the movement on this one but not yet sure if it’ll be food safe.

This is an adapted version of Old Forge’s First Five glossy base — adjusted for the chemistry of German materials — with rutile and iron!

Pink glaze for cone 10 reduction?

Looking for any leads on making a pink glaze in cone 10 reduction. Chrome tin does not work due to the reduction. I had made a wonderful purple that worked before I helped adjust to doing a stronger heavy reduction (working so wonderfully for the oil spots). But I can’t seem to find anything on the internet about non chrome tin pink for cone 10. I heard pink mason stains burn out but I haven’t tried them yet. I do have a pink underglaze that works but it is so prone to crawling and peeling.
