Just how good was Bellingham in the Championship?

For those who saw Bellingham play in the Championship, just how good was he? I know he only played around 40 matches for Birmingham, but did you know he would go on to become the player he is today? If so, what exactly did you see in him that made you believe he would reach this level?

England not having detestable players is upsetting me

Where's the Gerrard's, the Terry's, the absolute dickheads that I can truly despise.

Having mild ambivalence to England as all the current players seem so bloody nice, it's just weird.

It's already painful enough with Wales not being there, without the joy of schadenfreude at seeing absolute bellends get turfed out in another crap performance

Millwall complete Mathis Servais signing

Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Mathis Servais.

The 21-year-old midfielder joins from Belgian Pro League side KV Mechelen on a long-term deal for an undisclosed fee, becoming the club's third signing of the summer transfer window.

Servais spent time in the youth systems of Charleroi and Club Brugge before making a move to SK Beveren in 2023, where he scored 10 goals in 62 appearances; statistics that earned him a move to KV Mechelen two years later.

Servais, who has caps for Belgium's youth teams up to Under 21s level, played 34 times in their top division in 2025/26, scoring twice, as Mechelen finished fifth in the League table, qualifying them for the end-of-season Champions' Play-Offs - where they ended in sixth, just missing out on European competition in the forthcoming campaign.

Mathis will now join up with his team-mates at Calmont Road for training this morning [Monday] as he settles into Alex Neil's squad ahead of the Sky Bet Championship season.

"We're absolutely delighted to bring Mathis to the club," said Steve Gallen, Millwall's Director of Football.

"He's young, but plays with real maturity for his age. A Belgian Under 21s international, he can play in a number of positions, but we see him as a central midfielder - athletic, strong and comfortable playing progressively.

"Mathis has been on our radar for a year now, since his move to Mechelen in the Belgian top flight, and we've watched closely as he's progressed there and with the Belgium Under 21s.

"As with any player arriving from abroad, we'll need to be patient as he acclimatises to the team, country and culture, but the potential is exciting and we're really pleased to have him on board.

"Yet again, we have to thank the chairman for his continued support and backing of the team and our club."

How well do we think Raúl Jiménez will do in the Championship next season?

Based on what I saw of him last season and the World Cup, he still looks like he's got it and would be a useful option for a bottom half Prem team. In last night's game he was causing all sorts of trouble for Guehi and Konsa, and probably could have had a hattrick.

I'm still surprised he was willing to drop down a level to play for Wolves again, but I know there's some history & sentimentality involved in that decision.

Will he score 25 goals or be completely shut down by the likes of Liam Lindsay and Rob Dickie?
