➜ The Undertaker debuted his "American Badass" biker persona at the WWF Judgment Day pay-per-view. Riding a motorcycle to the ring to the tune of Kid Rock's "American Badass", the transformation marked a major pivot for Mark Calaway, allowing him to modernize his character.

Instead of his traditional trench coats and urns, he emerged sporting a bandana, sunglasses, and leather gear. He would often incorporate his patriotism into the gimmick as well. The biker gimmick remained a staple of his WWE career until 2004, when he resurrected his Deadman persona.

Killer Kross (formerly Karrion Kross in WWE) won his first Major League Wrestling (MLW) World Heavyweight Championship at Battle Riot VIII on January 29, 2026 (aired February 5).

He secured the title by outlasting 39 other competitors in the Battle Riot VIII match in Kissimmee, Florida, last eliminating Matt Riddle.

During this ongoing reign, he has defended the title 4 times including against Matt Riddle in a televised championship rematch.

➜ This is a WCW main event that took place on WWF television. It should have been iconic, but it is widely remembered by critics and fans as one of the worst matches in WWF/E history. It was even voted as the most awkward match in WWF history by WWE back in 2013.

On July 2, 2001, a little over 3 months after the WWF purchased WCW, the main event of WWF Raw was branded as WCW as Booker T faced Buff Bagwell for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. It was supposed to launch the new WCW era in WWF. The match served as a critical turning point in the mishandling of the WCW Invasion storyline. Because it was thrown together at the last minute, featured two WCW-style workers in a WWF-style ring, and was met with heavy "boring" chants from the WWF crowd, Vince McMahon reportedly soured on making WCW a standalone brand.

The bout ended in a no-contest when Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle interfered. They attacked both men and dragged them backstage, throwing Bagwell and Booker T out of the arena entirely. Following the negative crowd reaction and backstage heat, the match ultimately resulted in Buff Bagwell's release from the WWF just a week later.
