The official 40k app army list builder won't let me use a CSM Sorceror or MoP as a Warlord for my Shadow Legion list, but I don't see anything in the SL detachment rules saying that the Warlord must be a Daemon. I also swear it used to allow CSM Warlords in 10th and it's been changed.

Is this just an oversight on the app or is there a rule somewhere else that says Warlords must be from the primary faction or something?

As the title says , my friend wanted to enter the game and he really likes daemons, we were looking for info and we came upon some post that said that chaso daemons is dissapearing in 40k and they are going for their respective faction (aka WE,DW etc...) so we were wondering if someone knows anything or if its a good idea to go for it.

Hello everybody. So my main army is Chaos Marines. Enjoying them very much, and I picked up a Khorne daemonkin because World Eaters is a bit of a side army for now. I noticed I had enough to sorta throw together a 1k chaos daemon list with Be'lakor at the head of it.

The army is Be'lakor, 2 units of bloodletters, 1 6 man unit of bloodcrushers, 10 man Cultist mob, 1 5 man legionaries led by a sorcerer.

How would one expand this list or what would you get rid of to run Shadow Legion? I'm a little less familiar with daemons, especially since it seems like each character is supposed to lead a unit rather than be on their own.

Is playing Blood Legion without Be'lakor playing on hard mode? He is just so expensive but helps with shooting armies. I've registered an RTT without him next weekend. I'm thinking starting Skarbrand and as much else as I can fit in reserve against tau etc. any other tips?
