I want YOUR hot takes regarding Chaotic/The Revival
I'll be making a video reading and responding to them later!

Can I just start by saying that I love that the show and by extension the place in lore (Chaotic) allows players in Drone matchs just throw hands with each other. Like every couple of episodes there will be a moment during a match where the player just decides "you know I could just hit them with an attack, but why dont I just punch you in the face". The biggest example i can give that I also love in the show is Tom vs Crellan (Maxor vs Cromax), like the second Crellan bursts into the room Tom's just like "Alright let's go" and immediately starts attacking with actual attacks. Until Crellan just boots Tom in the chest, at which point Tom just straight up boxs Crellan back. On top of that I also love how the environment can actually just code you too. Falling of a cliff, code, falling into lava, code, a tree or building falls on you, you better believe you're code. So I think its cool you can just beat someone's ass with your fists in a Drone match.
Basically that.
Ive signed out and back in, cleared cache, and closed the page entirely. No luck.
Edit: sorry i was mistaken and thinking i was already on a scan quest. New to rewind and didn't know this was the standby screen. Thanks for the help!!
We went a different direction with the marrillian scanner. With. Coloring it black and red it would not have show on a black scanner. So my son picked this Color out cause of the glow that some of the creatures had in the show.
We have all seen the prototype card designs and stuff and many have shared their thoughts with Gannon and crew on how they could be improved, but my question is what size will the cards be? I’ve been stockpiling reward points at my lgs for the big day and it occurred to me that getting card sleeves and boxes would be a good idea so I can get decks ready to play right at the get-go. But I don’t know what size Panini will be using for their first foray into TCG cards. Anyone know what size sleeves I should go with?
What the title says. I didn't see anyone mention this and wanted to share. The photo I added is from Dave and Adams website. Feel free to check it out to verify. https://www.dacardworld.com/gaming/chaotic-boxes
This one was a “must do” after I did maxxor fanart, so hope u like it
Since it looks like the reboot won’t be backwards compatible w/ the original in other ways, is there going to be fundamental rewrite to the rules as well, or discussion of such?
I’m hoping to see at least some iterative design improvements that can’t really happen to a game while keeping continuity.
As for bigger overhauls, I would like the distinction between the disciplines feel less arbitrary. Right now, they’re all the same stat w/ different coats of paint—not even broad strategies like M:tG colors (which is probably better saved for the tribes anyway). For example: Speed is the primary initiative determiner (with Locations providing tie-breakers), Power influences base damage for Attacks, and Wisdom affecting how many draw and/or your hand size. Not sure what Courage would do in this paradigm, though, but there only being one arbitrary stat like that doesn’t feel nearly as obnoxious (and is probably even a good thing).
Was not anticipating to find this at an EB Games in a mall in my home province of New Brunswick of all places. I had seen other people finding them in Ontario, but never did I dream of finding them so close to home!
I have a few guess and they are Shadow Knight Takinom, Nature Force Interess, Fierce Chaor, Battlegear Maxxor, Katarin, Thrax, Deehna, Zalvar, Spyder, Thonder, Antideon, Raimusa, Toadore and Stelgar.
Because 4 of them different versions of Creatures that should in later sets, 2 are promo, 2 are from later sets, and 6 haven’t been got cards before.
Honestly this is a tough one because I could see the other versions of Maxxor, Takinom, Chaor and Intress but that leaves only one creature, it can’t be all never released creatures because theirs only room for five and theirs six of them and last 4 could fit but one more has too join them honestly this is difficult situation.
Honestly what’s choice for the five secret cards?
Hi everyone! I’m planning to build a Mipedian deck, but I'm torn between two completely different playstyles and need some advice on which direction to take for a Portal to Perim (PtP) format:
Since I want to experiment with both, I'm having a bit of trouble finding updated lists for specific formats.
If there are specific Discord channels, YouTube channels (like The Jovinater), or forums I should check out, please drop the links below!
Thanks in advance for the help!
I went and bought two booster boxes from blowout cards and at some point we want to get more but I didn't know what the odds would be of my local LSGs actually having them.
Some of them are pretty big, some of them about the half the size of a warehouse. What are the chances of them carrying chaotic cards upon release?
I’ve been playing PTP a little over a month, and every location I go to now all I’m getting is credits as rewards after my 6hr scanquests. I’ve tried multiple locations and even ones I go to for the first time it’s the same. Currently I’m going to The passage in the overworld hoping to get a new location so I can get into the underworld.
Let me know if there’s something I’m doing wrong
TIA
