Hi, my name is Žanete, I'm from Latvia, and this is my call for help.

I need your help to fulfil a dream (and a need) that I’ve had for more than 15 years - have a healthy and beautiful smile. I’ve struggled with dental health since early teens (I have no pictures with me smiling with an open mouth since I was a child). Dental hygiene wasn’t something I learned in childhood so the consequences of that have followed me well into adulthood. Add to it ADHD and depression and you have a recipe for no routine, no good habits, questionable hygiene, really low self esteem and just mindset of “there’s really no point of doing anything about it”.

Finally with help of my close friends, a year ago I took a big step and made mental health my top priority. Now days look much brighter than before. Then followed physical health. I started walking more, go to gym, fell in love with weightlifting. And even started running. Combination of all of these things made me realize that maaaybe there actually is a point to do something about it. So after weeks of horrible anxiety, I had my consultation at dentist office. I thought that it will be a bit worse, but it's still far from good. I have to have 13 extractions, root canal treatment, some fillings, temporary solution while my mouth heals from extractions and then when it heals there will be crowns for upper jaw and just dentures for lower jaw. For now the total is more than 9000 euros (closer to 10000 actually, but I've started the process already and used my little bonus from work). I will use my work insurance but it’s only 300 euros now and then 300 euros from June (yearly insurance renewal).

I desperately need to improve my health, lose weight, get surgery, and heal so that I can have a chance to regain mobility. Zepbound is my best hope for help. Many of my ailments and conditions are exacerbated by my weight. My insurance does not pay for weight loss therapy as I am only pre-diabetic and not fully diabetic. With wildfires dominating the news across Canada right now, I figured I'd share a conservation project that seems especially worth supporting.

This is a fundraising campaign for the Amazon Rainforest Conservancy through Ma Earth's Round 3. Donations are matched through a $1 million funding pool, so each contribution can have a larger impact than it normally would. The campaign also takes the number of individual donors into account, which means even smaller donations can help the project receive more matching funds. Amazon Rainforest Conservancy is a non-profit based in Canada founded over a decade ago.

The Amazon is already a well-known conservation priority, so I won't oversell it. The combination of rainforest protection and matched donations makes this one of the stronger environmental fundraising campaigns I've come across recently.

I am trying to raise money for myself and for my family after the earthquakes in Venezuela hit. I was born in the states but grew up between the states and Venezuela, but haven't been able to reach my family in a very long time- all my family lives in Caracas, Venezuela. I, myself, am disabled and cannot work, and I have been struggling to get back to my family to stay with them due to the political climate between the United States and Venezuela. I was supposed to go back and live with them permanently (as I am struggling deeply with no income and being disabled with no support system) by this August, but now the two 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes have hit Caracas. On top of this, my 84 year old grandfather has been ill. Thankfully my family is alive, but is in need of deep repair (both emotionally and physically) as well as the rest of the city and country. This is a national tragedy, and has delayed my way back to them massively.

I am asking for this donation help to be able to both provide relief to my situation to get back to my family and for my family and country when I get back, to be able to finally see them again after so many years before it's too late. Thank you guys so much! ❤️

In early 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 4 mediastinal lymphoma. Since then, I've been through six rounds of chemo, radiation, and CAR-T cell therapy.

I never imagined that one moment would change my life forever. A gunshot left me paralyzed, and since then, every day has been a battle. The things I used to do without thinking are now some of the hardest parts of my day.
What hurts the most isn't just what I've lost—it's the moments I miss. I miss running around and playing with my little sister and my nieces and nephews. I miss being able to pick them up, chase them, and make memories with them the way I used to. Those are the moments that break my heart the most.
But they're also the reason I refuse to give up. My little sister and my nieces and nephews are what motivate me to keep fighting every single day. They remind me that I still have a purpose, and they give me hope for a better future.
I'm raising money to pursue stem cell treatment because I want to fight for every opportunity to improve my recovery and regain as much independence as possible. I know there are no guarantees, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life wondering what could have happened if I hadn't tried.
