Charvel DK24 shipping with closed off backplate

So I recently ordered a Pro-Mod Dk24 in Celestial Silk and looks like it ships with an entirely closed off backplate, not the correct one with a slot to loop the strings through.

Has anyone encountered this before?

I reached out to Fender and they said they don't offer replacement parts and to go talk to a dealer....

The strings do get inserted through the back of the tremelo block just like any Fender strat style bridge.

Help with verification needed

Hi guys!

I´m about to pull the trigger on this Charvel Fusion Custom but the serial number is hard to read. I have tried messing with picture sharpness and so on but still I am not completely sure.

Does this seem legit to you?

Will a Gotoh 1996t fit into my Pro Mod So Cal Style 1?

Hey guys! I recently purchased this 2016 Charvel Pro-Mod SoCal Style 1 and I’m waiting for it to arrive. In the mean time I have a Gotoh 1996t for a project that fell through. I’ve heard for a lot of Jackson’s the Gotoh is a direct drop in (I’m not so sure about charvels though). Does anybody know if it’ll be a drop in? Thank you.

The Pink dream

No not THAT pink dream you filthy minded Reddit lurker. The guitar.
Just picked up this bitchin looking thing!
A Charvel Pro mod San Dimas from 2024.
I mean just look at that it.
We all need some no nonsense tops and badsass colors straight off of the 80’s.
Some swift adjustments to the string height and adjust the neck pickup and is ready to go. The frets ends might need some tlc but that’s for next weekend.

So if you excuse me i need to dust of some old gnarly Ratt & Dokken riffs.

My two Charvel guitars

Hi to all.This are my two and only guitars.I love them both.
Green one is 2016 Pro Mod San Dimas in Specific Ocean colour, very lovely colour with bit of a sparkle inside.
Black one is 2023 Pro Mod San Dimas in Relic black.
Both plays beautifully and both are killer axes.Cheers

Pre-Ordering new guitar, inlays or nah?

Hi all,

Looking for a more versatile guitar in future than my current E-II NT horizon with emg 57/66. I've settled on charvel since i like the body/neck and i want a unique finish color in lavender. Also the SD JB on bridge should be able to play anything.

I also have a custom boutique classical worth 8k with no inlay just side dots, but never really played past 12th fret on that guitar regularly and had no issues. Should i get inlays or nah? It will cost a bit more and take longer. I'm looking to play 80's rock/metal and metal/some jazz.

Dream DK24 variant?

I realize every possible option would not be feasible to make, but say you could mix and match? What would be the perfect combination for you?

Mine would be a Dark Amber, with a Gotoh, silver hardware, white pickups (maybe the standard SD's, not sure), caramelized maple neck, non-caramelized fretboard, and stainless frets.

Make it happen soon please Charvel :D

Charvel/Jackson Gutars, A Short History. Fivewattworld

This has a lot of incorrect details. Too bad, because I think this is important to rock/metal history.

The pic and description of the Models is just a mess, along with info on Randy's V and several other details. Hopefully this doesn't cause too much confusion now, and in the future.
