Picking up my first avalanche
Title says it all.
Found a 2005 z71 for sale with 118k on the odo and an interior that looks like a time capsule from 2005. It’s impeccable!
I hate the color but I’m going to do a full raptor liner job to the truck eventually so that’s a non issue.
Only real problem I have with the truck is the stupid aftermarket 2000’s era backup cam. Going to have to get rid of it asap and install a more modern option.
Plan on using it for stealth camping and a lot of off road/overlanding shenanigans. Definitely going to be making a roof rack and rock sliders/skids and possibly some steel bumpers for it too.
This truck should be a really fun daily/project
