Big Boy

Hi, my kiddo is obsessed with trains and we’ll be in Cheyenne on Friday/Monday (Laramie over the weekend). Is Big Boy currently visible? If we drive by the UP yard on our way up to Laramie? Didn’t know if he’s covered or out in the open.

We’re going to try to see him Monday when he heads east - but would like to avoid crowds/not fight for parking, etc. Best place to watch him when he leaves?

Thank you!

Is Terry Bison Ranch Good?

I stumbled upon a post suggesting to go to Terry Bison Ranch. It looks cool but I'm seeing very mixed reviews. We are looking to do the bison train tour and possibly the self guided walking tour. Has anyone been? Is this place legit (is it ethical)? Is it worth it?

Abandoned airline headquarters

I was driving around the airport doing some spotting when I came across what I believe to be the abandoned headquarters of Big Sky Airlines. There's a couple partially scrapped planes on the property and the building looks completely shuttered. I'm a bit of a fan of abandoned places and old airlines, so I wanted to see if anyone knew more about this place.

Lost suitcase

Absolute long shot. I lost my suitcase turning left onto Yellowstone Rd from Dell Range Blvd. We had accidentally left it on top of the truck. Luckily someone flagged us down, but by the time we turned around and got back to the intersection, it was gone. Of course i had no identifying information on or in it. It was a red suitcase with a 7 brew sticker on it. If anyone has any clue what happened to it or has advice on who to contact I would appreciate it.

Data Centers

If you want more info on data centers, listen to this morning's (5/12/26) Breitbart News Daily this morning with Colin Madine. It starts at 1hr 55min into the broadcast. I know the Mayor said the 13 are only using 200 acres per year of water, but he needs to not lie to us by marginalizing the number. That amount equates to over 65 million gallons a year and that is just 13 operating not the 70 that are approved. Please listen to the interview this morning and consider whether you think you support these.

K-pop Demon Hunters this Sunday

Hello! I bought 4 tickets for the Laser show on 5/17 at 4:15pm at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science but forgot that my family member is graduating this weekend. I’d like to just sell them for the cost ($14/ticket). I can sell all four or in pairs. DM me if interested!

HHPM apartments.

Anybody live at any of these properties? Particularly the ones on college? Curious how they are as landlords and if anybody has any complaints otherwise. Also curious about the floor plan on the one bedroom apartments. Do the garages completely separate the units or do you share a wall? I plan on visiting the office next week when I can, but idk when I’ll actually be able to get in for a showing so just trying to get some info. Thanks!

Is there a service for pick up after medical procedure?

Living in the area solo, just moved here.

But I have a procedure coming up and I need a trusted person to pick me up and take me home (due to anesthesia), but I don’t know anyone yet.

Does anyone know of a local service that could do this?

Need a modern creative florist for Mother’s Day

My mother means the world to me. About 10 years ago, I called up a florist in Cheyenne and gave them a bunch of instructions about what my mother would and wouldn’t like. The florist hand delivered the bouquet to my mother and she was so excited she was in tears.

The girl had created a modern succulent/dried weed/ sculpture like thing that didn’t look like your typical Mother’s Day crap. It was perfect.

To my dismay, that young lady got outta Cheyenne quick and moved to SanDiego.

I need to find someone who can do something similar for my mom. One year I paid $150 for a bouquet trusting the florist and it ended up being gawdy and flashy—two thing my mother is not. It had birds of paradise in it—the worst mother day gift ever.

Does anyone know if a creative person that could put together a beautiful, modern, succulent bouquet that was tasteful and unique that could then deliver it to my mom? I can pay up to $150 if that helps. I’d like to see a picture of it before it’s delivered to make sure it’s not cheesey.

Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks.
