Jessica Chilton (Chili)

What happened to her? I'm watching for the first time and I thought it was clear they were setting her up to be one of the leads, she was in the middle of her grief arc and then just disappeared. Was there trouble with the actress or something?

the entire storyline with severide was flawed due to the canonical hierarchy of the CFD

Even if he's not on screen Wallace is still calling the shots at the top and he would have shut down the Severide witch hunt instantly in reality

Do you think Brett and Casey will ever come back for a guest appearance?

So last season on Chicago Med, Halstead and Manning returned for a guest appearance. Then on the crossover event, Halstead and Upton returned. Do you guys think Brett and Casey might come back just for a guest appearance?

Theroy on why the season ended like it did

I think the reason we got a season finale where they made it feel like anyone could die in the fire is because the show is in a transition period. They’re getting a new showrunner, they’ve been dealing with budget issues (shocker), and I honestly don’t think they fully know yet who’s living, dying, retiring, or leaving.

They’re probably still having discussions with the new showrunner to figure out what direction they want to take the series, which characters they want to keep around, and how they’re going to handle the issues the show has been facing. So making the finale this open-ended gives them a lot more flexibility going into next season.

Rewatching season 1

I have been watching this show since it first started airing in 2012. I’ve never went back and re watched it, and finally decided it was time to go back and revisit it. Man it feels so weird. Seeing characters I haven’t seen in years, seeing the younger versions of other characters. Some characters just feel different too. Boden is tougher on the firefighters than he is in later seasons. Severide also feels different. He’s a little more outgoing where as I feel like later his personality becomes more reserved. Overall the show feels a little grittier and less formulaic than what it’s become. I can see why I really got into the show back then.

Pascal in station 19?

I’m currently rewatching station 19 and I’m on the episode where Ryan’s dad gets involved in a crime scene and does anyone know or his dad and Pascal are both played by Dermot?

Vasques S14E1 loophole? S

Finally catching up on the episodes im behind, and i feel like i know that Vasques was a problem floater 51 dealt with in the past? I feel like i remember his attitude problem, and that was why they kicked him back into the floater pool. Kidd is acting like she doesnt know him, but I am almost certain they’ve dealt with him before. Am i crazy?

Stella and sevride

Am I missing something or have these two spent the entire season away from each other . Every episode one of them is in a different city or on a different mission . Also what’s going on with the actor who plays sev? He seems almost depleted , he’s bringing less than nothing to the show .

Also the entire fire house is lacking that comyah family vibe it used to , for the first time they feel like colleagues and not friends/family . Also I’d kill to have a new character for less than 2 episodes it’s killing the whole vibe .

SPOILER! Season 14 Finale

They did us SO PAINFULLY DIRTY! 😭

There is no way anyone is escaping THAT without some horrific, career ending injury—at the minimum. It’s making me think back to S1E1 when Andy Darden was killed. He was engulfed just like this and he died.

The show hasn’t killed off a main character in a long while, so I know someone’s going, possibly multiple people (thank you, budget cuts).

They cut between the fire and characters spouses/kids, so my question here is; does this mean it’ll be one or several of those characters, or are they trying to use reverse psychology and it’ll actually be Vasquez, Capp, or Tony? Someone not as major/a veteran of the show.

Thank you for listening my yap. The ice cream I was eating for breakfast while watching this has melted while I’ve been stressing, so I’m gonna go drink that, but I need to hear other people’s thoughts on all of this.

Edit: I found this online about the five characters that will possibly die https://screenrant.com/chicago-fire-season-14-finale-character-death-list/

Seriously what has…

Happened to Kelly and Stella for the past three seasons? their entire connection has been stagnant. Like what are the writers doing with these two? They take two steps forward, then ten steps backwards.

is it just me who thinks this?

By the way, I am a fan. but things has changed between them.

Make it make sense…

I don’t think Novak is stable. Her behaviour is unstable. She liked Dr.Frost, but as soon as he wanted something serious, it was an issue. She didn’t want to commit. Violet then finally liked someone since Carver, Vasquez. Connection started to grew between Violet and Vasquez. All of a sudden now, Novak wants to be in a relationship with Vasquez , even after finding out he slept with her best friend Violet. At this point I don’t know how anyone can stomach Novak character.

Someone please make sense of this!

Also, I personally think Vasquez genuinely have feelings for Violet, but don’t want to hurt that no good friend Novak.

Episode Discussion: S14 E21 - "Thank You" (May 13, 2026) **SEASON FINALE**

Severide and Kidd welcome a surprise visitor. Herrmann and Cindy renew their vows. Mouch receives some encouraging news.

Why do they always end the season this way?

It’s anti climatic because everything is fine or pulls through even if in the hospital. When was the last time they killed off a main character in any of these shows?

FINALES - IF you watched all three of them - what is your take?

I watched all three - I liked them all but definitely there was the good, better, best.

PD gets my good rating -

MED gets my better rating -

And by FAR, FIRE gets the BEST - and I have even gotten away from liking Fire all that much

Why - it got me so involved that now I cannot wait to find out what happened in the next opening season - just the way they did it at the end made one think now WHO might not be coming back because they met their maker?!?

Novak and Vasquez

So how do we feel about what Novak said? It looks now like they are making this two a thing and they completely forgot/ignored the Violet and Vasquez thing and now he likes Novak instead

Do we actually think the new showrunner will do a better job of working around the budget cuts and coming up with better storylines?

Obviously working around characters missing at least 2-3 episodes is hard to plan around but the storylines have become a bit stale the last couple of seasons. Do we think Victor can actually do a good job of coming up with improved storylines and can do a better job of dealing with the budget cuts of missing cast members?
