Hi guys, can anybody provide info, on what could be the cab charges from Chikkamagaluru to Kadur railway station?

My boyfriend and I were riding a scooty coming back from kelagur tea estate area near a mosque with some shops in Chikmagalur today and pulled over to wear raincoats. A car with 3 men was already parked right next to us.

Just as we were leaving:
One man from the car got out holding a small towel in front of him, with a suspicious smile and walking straight toward us.

Another man kept the car door half-open behind him.

My gut screamed, and we sped off on the scooty in 2 seconds.

I don't know if I am overthinking this or if we were actually in danger ???

I'm planning a 2 nights/3 days trip from bengaluru with my fiancee. We are looking for a nice romantic stay where we don't wanna go on long treks but explore places and food at our own pace. As I want her to visit both the mountains and beaches, I have tried to cover Chikmagalur & udupi

1. Would spending 1Night +1Day in Chikmagalur and another in udupi be a bad idea? Or I should spend both nights in Chikmagalur and on the last day travel to udupi early morning?

2. Stay suggestions for a couple's trip? Max budget would be 4k a night

3. Is there weather predicted to be too bad during my travel dates?

4. Are there private cabs available for Chikmagalur to udupi travel? Is road travel safe given the heavy rainfall?
