How I thought the relationships in Chiramune would be like vs how they actually were like...

(warning: anime only try to avoid image 2)

(reminder: I read the LN wayy before the anime started airing)

While reading Chiramune for the first time when I completed volume 2 I didn't know that its a harem series (cuz I didn't saw the cover art of each series 🥲) so I expected the relationships between the characters to be like image 1, I know some of my expectations are bizarre such as Yua and Kenta but... That's what I actually thought 😭

But when I saw the cover art of volume 3 and other volumes, then I got that its a harem series and every volume is based on each girl and how they fell in love with Chitose.

Where do you guys think the second cour will leave off when the anime continues to air in the fall?

I think personally it would make the most sense to drop a cliffhanger on season 1 at the end of volume 5 with yuuko's confession scene but since the haru arc and the yuuko novel are super dragged i have no idea if they can fit that in 13 eps + asuka tokyo arc too... but it would be absolute cinema to leave it off and then get the season 2 beginning with Yua and then kureha/nanase + school festival arc and whatever is next
