Today she climbed a coconut tree to get a better vantage point while helping me hunt for duck eggs. 😆 She takes her sanctuary supervisor duties very seriously around here.
He's my little one; he's got a temper, he cries a lot, and he's a big eater. His mother is a Yorkshire Terrier and his father is an apple-head Chicchia. I just wanted you to meet him!! I have a Labrador retriever and he thinks he's a giant toy!!! 🥰

I adore my most loved and silly girl Mia Chorkie girl that has such a fit when I bathe her or clip her nails. I put a soft muzzle on her and my husband and I fight her tooth and nail to do the most basic grooming things. She is a great pup in every way but acts very badly when we are trying to take good care of her. I don’t put up with a lot of nonsense from my other doggos ( who are a pound pup and a giant Shep/Pyr rescue ) but Mia is such a giant turd every single time.
We don’t let her get away with being a brat much but man- I’m so over her being so difficult with the whole grooming stuff. I’m not new to dogs of any breed but I’m really wondering if we should just hire a mobile groomer at this point? I understand her breed mix in every way but I guess I’m just like over her fits! I just want to keep her pretty hair combed and bathed. Her dewclaws need trimming way more than she ever lets me do it. Ideas?
This is moxie. Shes 10 weeks old and weighs 1.5 pounds. How big do you think we can expect her to be? I was curious if your chorkie was that size at this age, how big they ended up being?
Has anyone had experience with cherry eye in chorkie babies or adults? Massage technique? Did it require surgery? How was recovery? Did it ever return? Or go away on its own?
