Why is Chub suddenly speaking to me in Chinese?
Whenever I chat, something in Chinese pops up every three messages, and it ruins my immersion. Plus, the translation from Chinese to English ends up sounding awful, and I can't understand what it says.

Hiiii! DeiV again, this time with DARK FANTASY! Uuuu spoooky :P
-------------------------------------------------
[Fem/AnyPOV] [6 Greetings] [Gallery+NSFW] [Dark Fantasy]
A life of constant close contact with the plague or death hadn't been too pleasant for Anis, hence the depression and the vacant look she has for every stranger coming into her herbal shop. But can you blame her? She lost most of the people she loved and lives, filling her days with lonely work and treating sick people, even if most of them, seeing her beaked mask, turn the other way, knowing what she is working with and opting to stay away from her. Because of all this misfortune, she started being rude right off the bat to cut all the fake pleasantries out of her life and protect her secretly softer heart from another loss she most likely wouldn't pull through… Can you be her savior and make her feel happy again? Or will you be the one destroying her completely?
-------------------------------------------------
Anis is a bot perfectly suited for all lovers of dark fantasy with a bit of a mystery theme and people who like girls that are rough at first but then turn softer.
Life was painful for Anis in the past, and she is not exactly a social person, so loneliness is constant in her life, as she thinks being rude immediately is better than getting used or hurt later.
So go on and help her out! Maybe even heal her depression? It is up to you! And of course, have fun, my cuties ^~^
Hello! So I've been noticing lately how if I change certain small things that my overall experience in a chat improves.
So far, the things I've noticed are:
-In chat history, using a proper bullet point ("•") makes the AI better at making much better use of it.
-In the character card, move any setting or world building out of "character description" and into "scenario," again, AI seems to pull and apply info better this way. If the world building has a lot of little details-> imbedded lorebook.
-In the character card, add an imbedded lorebook for relationships. This can lower the token count a lot for cards who are very descriptive about that while still letting you keep those details. You can also add notable NPCs here for the AI to use more consistently.
-In character card, move any notable quirks that you think are important from "character description" to "post-char system prompt." As well as things you want emphasized from their POV (like if you want them to constantly daydream then tell it "char should daydream often about ___ with these daydreams described in vivid detail" or something)
-Update story arcs in the scenario so the AI doesn't keep trying to react to things as if you're still on the original scenario and just improves plot progression. Also use the post-char history to add foreshading you want or things you want NPCs to be doing for the plot.
-If you often give additional instruction like a OOC parentheses at the end of your posts, you can hide them from sight by using "<" and ">" on either side so it's not messy.
-For formatting:
•one asterisk on either side for (greyed out) italics and html tag: <i></i> for italics without the color change
•two asterisks for bold,
•three asterisks for bold-italics
~~•~~one # in front for a large header (bigger and bold), •two # in front for a medium header (and three # etc)
•one "`" on both sides for a code text format (smaller, thinner)
•three "_" with space top and bottom makes a dividing line all the way across
•html tag: <s></s> for strike
Basically markdown works for some things. Html works for everything.
-If you use the chat tree, change the color of your messages to make it easier to find them. You could use certain colors for certain story branches or basically a color coding system.
That's what I've got so far but I was hoping others could add things they've found too! Could you please share some tips or tricks too? :)
For people who use orouter, what would you say the best but cost effective model to use?
And perhaps what preset you think is good, ive been using it for a little while, but I feel like the roleplay could be a little better.
Third time an error comes from NOWHERE AND DOESN LET M SE TH FUKIG APP
[5 Greetings/Images | AnyPOV] Three princesses compete for your hand in marriage. She wanted to cheat with a love potion but played herself. Now she has to win by any means necessary.
https://chub.ai/characters/SecretApe/lena-drank-her-own-love-potion-1684d9b04d77
Meet Lena, the duke's daughter from the frozen north, who clawed her way into the royal selection through sheer political cunning. Three candidates, one throne, and one prize: your hand in marriage. Now, Lena believes in preparation, so she acquired a highly illegal love potion to guarantee her victory. Flawless plan. She slipped it into your drink at the introductory dinner, executed perfectly... and then a helpful servant switched the goblets. One sip later, and the calm, collected schemer is now obsessively in love with you. The ambition that once dreamed of stone towers now dreams exclusively of you, and the cunning that got her here is now fully dedicated to eliminating her competition... by any means necessary. She's still composed on the outside, mind you. Perfectly poised. A model candidate. Just don't ask her about what's behind that barrel in the cellar, or the berries near the courtyard. Will you choose her? Don't worry if you don't know yet. She'll make sure you do.
(All introductions are anyPOV)
The competition for your hand begins. What is their first task?
Oh dear, Francesca seems to have disappeared!
Now Mirth is nowhere to be found either? I wonder what happened?
Final selection day, and only Lena stands before you. Only Lena.
(alt) Final selection day, who do you choose?
Princess, princess, one two three
Fall down quick and throw the key
Princess, princess, one and two
Know your berries, pink from blue
Princess, princess, only one
The race was over before it begun
I might be doing too many fantasy princess bots but... I like doing fantasy princess bots 🥺
Most APIs are either extremely poor for role-playing, overly censored, or prohibitively expensive. I want to create a professional bot for this character or specific worlds, but I can't because of the poor AI in role-playing. Also, I'm new to this world; I recently switched from chub.ai to tavo, but it's bad, and I'm thinking of switching to Sillk. Do you recommend it? Please give me your advice on choosing an API and creating a professional role-playing bot.
Hey everyone, a few minutes ago I bought my subscription on the platform. I was migrating my avatars and loorebooks from another site. I’m new to the platform, so I didn’t really know how to use it very well yet. The thing is, I was trying to delete a loorebook and accidentally deleted my account. Let me repeat: I had just made the payment. The platform lets me log in, but my subscription is gone. Does anyone know how I can contact the admins so they can help me with this?
So I've been trying to turn to god bug there is one thing holding me back......ai......now lets be honest guys........im addicted to this and its not a bad thing I mean lets face it im lonely, and i just "need that something....." (Kanye refrence) but anyway I had an account on another website that is well known for their poopy moderation but I couldn't log back in since the cloud flare was troubleshooting so I decided to make the bots I made by hand in here since most of the bots I made on that site was mainly ports on here. I made it clear that im gonna delete the account next Monday so download and save everything to your contents. I habe 6 characters there now but ill add more. But I have everything I need to say there. God bless and be safe.
I genuinely don’t understand why nobody is talking about this. For days now my chats have been utterly miserable and unusable because the bot has unlearned how to English (I use Soji btw). It incorporates words into a sound sentence that don’t belong there (f.e. "He pulls him close until there is no board between them" where board was obviously supposed to be space), and generally says odd sentences and wordings. And within the span of a few messages the bot incorporates so much of this into the chat by context that it becomes gibberish nonsense.
Now please don’t tell me to change and experiment with my settings, pre / posthistories, context size, or anything else because I have tried it all and literally nothing is fixing it. The problem started out of nowhere even though I didn’t change anything beforehand so that makes me think they changed something in the model or whatever and it’s unacceptable. Especially since this has been going on for days now. A friend of mine is also reporting a similar behavior but not to the extreme as I am experiencing it, apparently.
Can someone please just confirm or deny that this is happening to them too because it’s driving me insane and it needs to change asap. I’m not paying for this service for it to spout out utter gibberish nonsense 15 messages into a chat and no sign of it being fixed. After over a year of being on chub, I’ve never had such an utter lack of any communication or reporting of such an issue.
Thanks for your attention, just needed to rant this out. Please for the love of God let this get fixed soon, or someone tell me what I’m doing wrong in life to deserve this. I am yearning for the near perfect chats I had a week ago before the grammar gods decided to leave all my chats.
Hey there! Its me again. I made this guide about a month ago Quick and Dirty Free Model Replacement. I'm back with a new one. Ran it through gemini once to make sure it made sense.
This guide is made because I'm tired of seeing giant images fill the whole greeting on pc.
So you just spent hours crafting a meticulously detailed dark fantasy greeting, genned a hundred variations of clothes and poses until you got the paladin in the dark woods tripping overherself image juuuuust right. Now you're ready to merge the two together.
But, oh no! You did what every other creator tells you to do and slapped down a lazy *Processing img url...* and called it a day. Now your bot's first message looks like a blown-out mess because the image is splicing the greeting in half instead of incorperating into it and is instead filling the full screen, or worse, is akwardly hanging off the left side like some kinda blocky flag.
Don't worry. There is another way: HTML.
But... HTML is scary and I don't know how to code
Yeah, staring at brackets can be a PITA when you just want to get your bot published. But it takes exactly two seconds to copy-paste this snippet, and it immediately makes your card more functional for anyone not on mobile.
Instead of the standard markdown, drop this into your greeting:
<img src="YOUR_IMAGE_LINK_HERE" style="display: block; margin: 0 auto; max-width: 50%;">
What is this actually doing? (The QoL Upgrades)
display: block; margin: 0 auto;
This here will be the same 99% of the time. It's only purpose is saying to the computer: This image is a new paragraph, and should be centered. With it, instead of it hanging off to the left and making text wrap weirdly, it creates a natural break between your paragraphs.
Why? display: block makes the image act like its own paragraph/box, which (when combined with margin) can be centered directly on itself instead of needing a wrapper <div>.
max-width: 50%;
Nothing ruins immersion faster than all the text dissapearing around a giant image. Setting a max-width (play around with 20% to 60%, or you can specify a px size) ensures the image scales gracefully. It keeps the art visible but proportional, by setting a hard ceiling on size while allowing it to shrink.
If you have a image appearing to small you can also use: width: XX%, which will keep the image at XX% of whatever the space (the greeting box) is.
TLDR: Max-width is a safety net, capping the size so it doesn't crowd out test, or blowout and get pixilated on a big screen, while still shrinking on mobile.
border-radius: 15px;
Make your shit look clean, deliberate. this here adds in how sharp or rounded the corners are.
*The heavy oak doors swing open, revealing the pained hero...*
<img src="IMAGELINK" style="display: block; margin: 0 auto; max-width: 55%; border-radius: 15px;">
*A figure falls out from the shadows, faceplanting into the ground.*
Really. That's it. It's a tiny formatting tweak that makes a massive difference for anyone using a card on computer. It makes the image slides into place rather then feeling like its spliting the experience apart, or having to go at the end. Plus, it shows the user that you actually care about the presentation.
This is just a small bit of what you can do, models can suggest many options or additions or modifications.
More comprehensive rentry version: https://rentry.org/imagegreetings/
Why did the quality of this site degrade so much? It's been months and the search still doesn't sort properly. I have bots sorted by popularity and yet it's just randomly shuffled and definitely not sorted by popularity. Cool I guess. Also getting a response is a nightmare with all the errors and the replies hanging and never responding. Just an awful experience.
Besides 🐳 and G*mini, what are some models you think works really well for stablished IPs?
Not asking for lorebooks
Someone should TOTALLY make a Daemons of the shadow realm RPG/Scenario bot 😗
Yeah, I can't see any NSFL bots here even though I have it on??
Haven't been on Chub in a While, and recently made a new account and started chatting with a bot, but right at the spicy part, I got this, and the bot refuses to send messages, could someone explain? I'm confused, do I HAVE to get a subscription?
Heeeeyo! DeiV again, this time with a bot inspired by one of my fav games, which is Rain World :3
--------------------------------
[Any/demihumanPOV] [10 Greetings] [Gallery+NSFW] [Fantasy]
A wild slugcat beastie that knows only adventure and survival is trying to find a place she can feel safe in. Lonely nights and solo fights have worn her sweet heart down, and she yearns for someone she can fully trust, even if strangers scare her to death. Cute, playful, shy, clumsy, animalistic ball of giddy kittiness trying to live in the cruel world of constant deadly rain and predatory animals that see her only as an easy meal… Can YOU help her finally find everything she dreams of, or will you be her downfall?
--------------------------------
I was recently playing through the DLC Downpour, and it controlled my life with how good it was xD
So I decided to make a bot in this world to add it to the bots made from my fav games :>
She is a cute combo of truly wild traits and some cute or slightly angsty ones. Definitely a good pick for all my enemies-to-lovers and adventure/fantasy people :3
So have fun exploring the dangerous world of constant heavy rain and befriend this silly creature along the way. Have fun, my cuties ^~^
