How different are they as nepo babies?
I was rewatching Iron Man when it hit me: both Rumi and Tony Stark classify as nepo babies, since they both inherit massive wealth and status from their parents. However, nepotism doesn't seem to get brought up as much when it comes to Tony. I've seen lots of people say Rumi owes everything to generational wealth and genes.
I'm probably pro-Rumi biased, but I really wonder: isn't Tony "guilty" of the same luck as her?
- They're both practically born millionaires.
- Tony was sent to an elite boarding school, then graduated MIT. Rumi was probably trained by Celine and tons of other coaches, masters, and instructors in music, singing, dancing, martial arts, etiquette, etc.
- Tony has genius-level intellect just like his dad. Rumi has a "magical" hunter voice like her mom.
The only notable difference I see is that Rumi's specialty is performing arts, while Tony is into STEM. Is that reason enough to say she had it easier? Or that he was more self-made than her?
