I've been keeping an eye on setlist.fm. but don't see anything just yet. Anyone have an idea of what was played tonight?

I have been revisiting citizen's old discography (sense the release of Halcyon Blues). 'Everybody Is Going To Heaven' has really stuck with me. I have been pondering the title of the album being what it is for a while. What I read online about what it means doesn't speak to me. My takeaway from the album is this - It is titled 'Everybody Is Going To Heaven' , because it is speaking to the profound impacts of isolation. How you start to view yourself on the outside in every moment. Everybody is going to heaven, except for me. The final song of this album ' Ring of Chain ' cements that thought for me.

It speaks to feeling like a constant outsider, everyone hates you and no one wants you here -

I absolutely love this album and will admit I did not give it the attention and love it deserved when it first came out but by far one of my favorite albums now.

August 25th @ Danforth :) i have two tickets, i was supposed to go with someone else but they canceled on me and i don’t wanna go alone so im selling my tickets 🫠

I’ve known these guy for a while but never really listened to them. Basements new album came out earlier this year and love it sm and then not a week after discover citizens new single highs and lows and it was what I needed, I fell in love ( song of the year btw) and then they released more singles and while didn’t hit me the same straight away they grew and grew and now I am so exited for the new album tommorow ( I think it could be my album of the year honestly) also title track what and absolute blast to listen to I feel like I’m floating ahha.

So ye let build the hype now, what song are you most looking forward to mines got to be Anne the last track as I think the opener and closer are the most intriguing like how are you gonna hook me straight away and then how are you gonna send this era we will remember off, personally think Anne will be a ballad slow type song tho I’m hoping for a big crescendo finish.
