Eden and Citron crash immediately after importing prod.keys on AYN Thor Base (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2)
I just received my AYN Thor Base today (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Android 13), and I’m having a weird issue with Switch emulators.
Here’s what’s happening:
Fresh install of Eden or Citron opens normally.
As soon as I import my prod.keys, the emulator crashes.
After that, every time I try to open the emulator, it immediately closes.
Clearing the app data or reinstalling lets it open again until I import the keys.
Things I’ve already checked:
Android 13
Same prod.keys and firmware that work perfectly on my Retroid Pocket 5
Other emulators (PPSSPP, Dolphin, etc.) all work fine on the Thor
Tried both Eden and Citron with the same result
Another AYN Thor Base owner has the same hardware and emulator versions, and everything works fine for them, which makes this even more confusing.
Has anyone else experienced this on the Thor or another Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device? Is there something I’m missing, or should I consider doing a factory reset?
Any help would be greatly appreciated because I’m completely stumped.
