Questions coming from Civ V

Im trying to make the transition from V to VI.

And im having trouble really wrapping my mind around some concepts.

For instance in VI i feel like:

> "i never have enough time to build everything"

>

> "theres too much to have to build"

>

> "oh its already the renisance era and i havent fought and wars yet, im only begining to build up my military"

>

>" my classical era unique units are wasted now becuase its the renisance"

>

>"ive spent the first couple hundred turns (epic speed) pushing out settelers and builders to snatch up land now i can start building up

So what im coming at here. Is the pacing of the game fundmentally different?

Or is my approach just wrong?

Or am i not properly building tall?

Civ 6 for Netflix started working again?!

I had Civ 6 for iPad as part of the Netflix deal. It then stopped working a few months back when Civ 6 left the Netflix library. However, I’ve just updated the Civ 6 app and now Civ 6 is playable again! Any ideas what is going on? Has Civ 6 been added back to Netflix games?

AI mod for Civilization V or Civilization VI

Greetings everyone! This might have been discussed already, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Is there an AI mod for Civilization V or Civilization VI that lets you actually talk to the civilization leaders? I'm thinking of something like the AI Influence mod for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, which allows you not just to chat with NPCs, but also to influence gameplay — building relationships with lords, recruiting troops, romancing ladies, and so on.

I believe a mod like that would be perfect for Civilization. It would remove the limitation of pre-scripted dialogue options and help avoid misunderstandings with the AI-controlled heads of state.

P.S. Sorry for any mistakes in the text — I used a translator.

Does anyone have a strategy on how to get a science victory as Babylon?

I looked it up on YouTube but it was just three hour videos where people happened to get science victories not guides for a science victory.

What I mean is somethin like how to get the right boosts so you unlock rockets and all the other requirements early or how to offset the science generation drawback or how to do the prior but also get enough production to build the things quick enough

I’m thinking of a policy card that I was sure exists but can’t find it anywhere

So I don’t know if I’m just going crazy, but I was almost certain there was a policy card that increases your combat strength against units of an earlier era. I thought it was unlocked with colonialism but checked and it’s nowhere to be found. It’s possible that it could be a golden age bonus? Does anyone know what I could be referring to?

Lake Retba = Coast for the sailing eureka - who knew?

Presumably the Dead Sea does the same thing?

P.S.
I was gunna tile-buy those cows so the city state wouldn't get them, as that was their obvious expansion tile... their mission was to eureka sailing...

Mod where you can adjust other civilizations era and tech level

Title, looking for a mod or a way that can make certain civilizations either ahead of me or lower than my era at the start of the game, asking this as I came from Medieval 2 Total War and one of my favorite DLC's is the Americas DLC of the Spanish colonization of South America which I had a lot of fun of by playing as both the Spaniards and Aztecs, now my main question is, is there a mod or a way that can make a civ to be much lower or higher than me along with the barbarians where they are at a "stop in a certain era" and one reigns supreme. I was playing last night a game and I enjoyed the feeling of going to another island mowing down barbarians of a very low tech society as I have musketmen and I wanna recreate that but as a permanent state of an entire game.

What could my opponent possibly be doing?

I’m in a multiplayer game with some friends, and one of my opponents is driving me insane with paranoia because I have no idea what he’s doing.

He’s playing Egypt, and is my neighbor. He has the most science per turn of all of us, 130 or so and we just entered the Renaissance before taking a break for the day. He has 11 cities, which is the most of any of the human players. But he only has 30 military strength. I have no idea what he could be producing in all those cities, because he’s definitely not just clicking through his turns to get to the end of some insanely long production.

He’s an aggressive guy, and enjoys going to war, but I could probably bruise him even though I’m a ways behind. I’m producing about 110 science each turn, but I prioritized commercial hubs and industrial districts before getting concerned about his science, so I might be able to out produce him.

I’m a little competitive, and terrified that he’s doing something like rushing for nukes. He’s not the type to sit back and win the science victory. What do you think he might be up to? Should I go to war preemptively and pillage as many tiles as possible to slow him down?

real life atomic bomb vs atomic bomb from civilization 6

Do you know how much I love watching nuclear weapon explosions in Civilization VI? Both the explosion itself and the mushroom cloud look incredibly beautiful and powerful. That’s why I decided to compare clips of atomic bombs from the game with real-life nuclear explosions, and let you decide how similar they really are.

Sadly i can't find good video of thermonuclear test , so its only just atomic bomb

this cilp was Hardtack Nutmeg-2 it was an atomic test explosion as part of the Hardtack series in 1958. Nutmeg was an LLNL shot detonated on May 21, 1958 on Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Nutmeg's yield was 25 kilotons.

there are 2 cilp in this video , just watch the whole
