To commemorate its 25th anniversary, I re-recorded Tiësto's "Magik Seven: Live In Los Angeles"

Sometime in early 2001, Tiësto performed his notorious "Magik Seven: Live in Los Angeles" set at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles, CA, USA. To commemorate its 25th anniversary, I decided to re-record and slightly rework this mix. Dedicated to everyone who attended and performed at the original event, to those who worked hard to make the original album a reality, and to the producers of the featured tracks. In memory of Marc O'Tool (aka Ballroom). Enjoy!

"How you feeling, LA?"

Bassheads - Is There Anybody Out There? (Hardfloor mix) [1995]

Some might argue if it fits in the trance branch, but I know from experience this track brings me in a deeper trance than many purely trance labelled tracks can do.

JASEfos Feat. Claire Van Der Boom - Do What U Want (Max Graham Afterhours in Montreal Mix)

Blending that beautiful rolling prog beat of days gone by with the vocal trance sound from one of the two best eras of trance.

I remember playing this at so many after hours comedown sessions and just seeing everyone come down into pure bliss.

What’s your go-to music for the comedown? Interested to see what people play when the pills are still flowing through the bloodstream, you’ve still got a bit of dancing left in you, but that cosy couch is also starting to look pretty good.
