Interested for people's song recommendations for trance songs with great basslines.
This was asked a while ago, and I fell in love with a track that was posted but cant for the life of me find it, so I'm hoping it'll appear along with some more.
The tracklist is below.
A little bit of context. All the tracks are from 1999. They all feature on a UK released DJ mixed compilation CD. I bought 52 of these mixed compilation CDs from the year 1999 and tallied all the tracks - the list below are tracks that featured on between 2 and 4 of the 52 - this is why I say "lesser known" - by comparison ATB - 9PM featured on 26 of them.
Just seeking thoughts and any other recommendations along these lines. Also, I hope that you may discover a new tune or two yourself - I can verify all 20 of these are brilliant.

I'm putting together a special radio segment dedicated entirely to the golden era: 90s Trance Legends - covering everything from early ambient, hypnotic, and progressive roots to the late 90s anthem explosion.
What are your non-negotiable, mandatory tracks for a proper 90s trance showcase? What hidden gems or foundational records would you add to the list?
Looking forward to reading your picks!
To all my fellow trance collectors out there: never give up the hunt.
I spent a decade searching for this specific 2007 Tragida remix. Because it was never officially uploaded to YouTube and the original label is long gone, it felt like tracking down a ghost. Now that I finally have it in my possession, I wanted to give back to the #TranceFamily by putting it on YouTube in full high-definition audio so nobody else has to search a decade for it.
Check out those classic melodic layers and driving energy. Let me know if anyone else remembers this masterpiece!
Came across this track today while listening to the X-Dream catalog and I have never heard this before but what a damn good track! Looking at the label I’m wondering if this was never released in the US. In these days coming across tracks on imports was hit or miss. You were unfortunately at the mercy of the availability the record stores you frequented had access to🤣
