Got 3 Claude certifications: CCAR-F, CCAR-P and CCAO-F

Posting this to help anyone preparing for the Claude certifications. Nothing to sell here.

Sequence: CCAR-F (Sep 13) → CCAR-P (Sep 23) → CCAO-F (Sep 30)

Background: I already hold 10+ other GenAI/ML/AI certifications, so my prep times below reflect that. Adjust for your own experience.

CCAR-F: 851/1000
Used all the official Claude courses (edit 15 in total) with hands-on practice. I made notes and did every question and exercise, since this cert lays the foundation for the others. Prep time was about 5-6 weeks. I studied all scenarios equally rather than trying to guess which would show up. I also did some AWS hands-on, but you can skip that.

CCAR-P: 950/1000
Used the official prep courses, took notes and did all the exercises. It builds on CCAR-F, so I felt comfortable. Prep took about 5 days. If you're confident after CCAR-F, you could skip the prep courses.

CCAO-F: 901/1000
Skipped the official courses and did 2 mock exams, relying on my CCAR-F foundation and prior GenAI/ML experience.

I took all three exams at a test center. Happy to answer questions within the NDA.

Passed CCAR-P with 860/1,000, sharing my free study notes and practice questions

I recently passed Claude Certified Architect – Professional (CCAR-P) with 860/1,000 and wanted to share the materials I put together.

My preparation involved reading through the full course and taking notes. I’ve shared those notes, along with sample practice questions, in a free GitHub repo:

Free CCAR-P study notes and sample questions

These are study questions intended to clarify concepts and help identify gaps in understanding. They are not actual exam questions or exam dumps.

My suggestion is to work through the course material first, use the notes for revision, and then try the sample questions. For each question, make sure you can explain why an answer fits the scenario.

Disclosure: I also created a paid Udemy practice-test course for anyone who wants additional structured practice to reinforce the concepts:

CCAR-P practice tests on Udemy

The GitHub materials are free to use independently; you don’t need to purchase anything.

If you’re interested in AI architecture or forward deployed engineering, I’d recommend considering this certification alongside practical experience building and deploying AI systems. Happy to discuss my preparation, and feedback on the notes or questions is welcome.
