Largo Golden Corral Replaced by New Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru Location

The former Golden Corral site on Ulmerton Road in Largo is slated to be redeveloped into a 6,300-square-foot Chick-fil-A featuring two drive-thru lanes. Plans call for a playground, a dual-lane drive-thru system, a Mobile Thru pickup lane, and dedicated Chick-fil-A delivery services.

Chick-fil-A is basically the 7-Eleven of fast food—there’s one on every corner. Because we definitely needed another Chick-fil-A 🙃

Approaching the 1 yr anniversary of opening White Sand Hair Salon in Clearwater near Harbor Oaks. So grateful for our wonderful staff of the best hairstylists in Clearwater. Post hurricane build and opening was difficult but we are so glad to be there for the community who wants great hair. 💕

End of an era at IRB

Sadly, the free parking at Indian Rocks Beach is coming to an end. The website says $4.50/hr. Residents with a pass can still park for free.

Courtney Campbell Causeway nightly closures: May 11-12, 2026 starting at 10pm

From FDOT:

> On Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12, all travel lanes on SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) will close nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

> During these closures, westbound traffic on SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) will have to use SR 580 (Hillsborough Avenue) and US 19 to access in Pinellas County. As an alternate route, drivers may use southbound I-275 (Howard Frankland Bridge), exit the interstate using Exit 31 onto Ulmerton Road, then turn right onto US 19, and continue north toward SR 60.

> Eastbound traffic on SR 60 (Courney Campbell Causeway) will have to use CR 611 (Bayside Bridge), turn left onto Ulmerton Road, continue east toward the northbound I-275 entrance ramp onto the Howard Frankland Bridge to access SR 60.

YARD SALE THURSDAY 5/14 7AM-230PM

We are moving to Pennsylvania at the end of the month so EVERYTHING must go. We will also have a very wide variety of:

(Eagles floor mats are a set of four total, two big, two small, never used still in the box)

There will also be a lemonade stand for a few hours starting after 11AM. Cash is preferred for items bought but will accept Cashapp or Venmo as well, we will have our usernames listed at the yard sale this Thursday.
