The Toontown: Corporate Clash Situation July/Aug 2026

Hello people of the Toontown community, with permission from the moderators here I would like to give a bit of a rundown with what's going on with Clash the last few weeks. This is for both the people who don't know, and those who haven't caught up with the updates on the situation from the original post on my account.

This situation started a few weeks ago, where an anonymous staff member spoke on this post in r/Toontown: https://www.reddit.com/r/Toontown/comments/1uuvf2g/corporate_crash_what_is_going_wrong_and_how_can/ . If you scroll down to the bottom of the post, you'll see that there is a deleted comment. That was the comment where said staff member was being truly transparent about what's actually happening on the team. Their comment then got removed by mods on the sub (two of which are involved with TTCC Leadership), who then also locked the whole post.

A little after this, another post was made where I felt the need to comment on the situation, where the person who made the original anonymous statement, Triple_Pain, responded to me directly. Here's their reply to my comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/Toontown/comments/1v5f5h7/comment/ozmm1gj/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button . I am now realizing they deleted my comment as well, so they've removed the context to Triple's response. However, my comment can still be seen here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Right_Art7434/s/bRuYYbDKq8

I want readers to think about this for a second, someone in Clash's leadership felt so cornered and ignored that they felt a need to make a public statement. If a leadership member feels that way, I can only imagine how some of those outside of leadership must feel. And if Triple's comment is accurate, that leadership claimed they "wanted to talk about it" and then just ghosted and fired them with little proper notice or real conversation; I think that says more than I could ever write about how leadership seems to feel about someone speaking out, even at such a small level.

Triple_Pain has also posted two personal posts on their profile going into more detail about the situation:
Follow-Up to Being Fired: https://www.reddit.com/u/Triple_Pain_/s/yZF7nAwBMO
Reponse to my Original Post Being Removed from r/Toontown: https://www.reddit.com/u/Triple_Pain_/s/BQ8KNpfyax

What follows are various updates on the situation and reactions to Clash leadership actions since posting my original statement.

On 7/27, they tried reporting the post I made on my private account to Reddit directly.

On 7/29, I read a comment from Triple where he had to post a defense document after a (now former) member of Clash leadership posted a document on my post attacking him and Crazy (the now former GD lead). This can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/user/Right_Art7434/comments/1v7rw43/comment/p0ddxyw/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button . For what I say next to make sense, there was a reply to Triple's originally deleted comment that had another anonymous user presenting as "former staff" downplaying his comment and making many really negative and damaging comments about both him and the game design team as a whole. Triple talked about this in his follow-up post linked above. This is already bad, but it is made worse when it came to his comment on the post in my profile. Triple's defense document concluded with the bombshell that Clash's head of administration, Maven, was more than likely the one that wrote the nasty comment. If true (and I don't see any reason for Triple to lie about it), that may just be one of the single worst things to come out of this whole situation.

On 7/31, r/Toontown moderators were going back to old posts and deleting other comments that provided context to this whole thing.

On 8/1, the r/Toontown update happened that ultimately resulted in this sub being made. I responded to this (especially in regards to the new censorship rule) here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Right_Art7434/s/uoZ8kEQCGi

On 8/5, I was peeking into the Clash Discord and was just generally frustrated by how they are downplaying this entire event. Found here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Right_Art7434/s/URdTzFbhN2 .

All in all, this situation has been extremely disheartening to witness and I hope things get better because Clash has had such an impact on me as a person, I don't want this project to eat itself from within. Unfortunately, I don't see things improving anytime soon, as this has left the team with no leadership for game design. Original post can be found pinned on my profile.

To the mods here, if you want anything adjusted, let me know and I'll happily do so.

Does anybody else remember this? Feel like i'm going crazy!

This is a recreation i made in like 2 minutes

I SWEAR many years ago on TTR there was a singular day where a singular random street hq in the brrrgh had a random translucent red sphere around it. Almost nobody i've talked to seems to remember this, and no screenshots of it seem to have survived. Surely someone has a screenshot!!!!

Apparently they explained this as a "rendering bug", but I'm left wondering if this was from very early field office development?
