Has GIJC slowed down at Ross & DDs?

It took me months to find the cheap retro Cobra Commander, so I was pretty shocked to do so yesterday (DDs in Raleigh NC, https://maps.app.goo.gl/g2TZBwhMbConc1d47?g\_st=ic — there were at least 4 left after my purchase). But in general it seems like there hasn’t been much GIJC at either store in recent months.

What are others finding?

Experienced collectors/hunters, do you expect more to show up before Christmas RossCon?

Always saw this line from afar, namely those old kenner pack in catalog mini-books.

Found this bad boy on the bottom shelf in the puzzles section in a 2nd Ave Thrift Store, and yeah, I snapped that thing up like it was solid gold.

The hook on the one ladder is snapped off, but it can still be placed and honestly should be an easy fix. It is missing the billboard for up on top, but again, should be a fairly easy print and fix... Or you know... Who cares if the cake doesn't have a topper... YOU'RE STILL GETTING A CAKE.

It was truly cathartic, after all these years, finally getting to blast a building blaster, and hoo boy. It really, really did not disappoint.

Just, POP, and kerblam.

Kind of shocked the line didn't take off back in the day. The build was easy, the parts fit well, and they even gave a few spare parts to get creative and not be tethered to instructions.

Also, anyone recognize the original price tag? Kinda wild to get a vintage toy so close to the original price.
