Getting crazy lag

Hey folks, I am at a loss on what to do next. I am getting awful, super choppy lag on my Xbox series X. I am playing an offline dynasty and there are times when the game gets incredibly choppy. I’ve tried the fixes like turning off background capture and deleting the reserved data, but that didn’t fix it. My tv doesn’t have vsync, but I tried to mess with the settings I could. I’m at a real loss for me because I enjoy the gameplay, just have a hard time actually playing sometimes.

CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS - Smash-Mouth Offenses

Last year, I was about 5 beers and 3 whiskeys deep into watching the snore of Ohio State vs. Wisconsin 2025. During the dominating defensive performance by Ohio State, I started to pay less attention to Caleb Downs & Friends and more attention to Wisconsin's pedestrian offense. At some point I started to get a wee bit nostalgic about the Wisconsin of "old" and a lot more pissed off about the Wisconsin of new. How the Badgers pre-Fickell era had a very recognizable identity of a dominate, corn, cheese and Culvers-fed offensive line, having game-managing QB play (besides Russell), winning New Year's bowl games and a very robust run game (with a lot of motions and shifts before it went in vogue). I also reminisced on the running backs of yesteryear like Ron Dayne, P.J. Hill (!!!!), John Clay, Montee Ball, James White, Melvin Gordon and Jonathan Taylor. This school played bully ball, and besides 2011 when they had their best QB (imo), they lived and died by the run. I miss it, and you do too. I'm tired of all this passing AND running from the shotgun on 3rd & Goal RPO nonsense. You want to run the ball up the gut for three yards and a cloud of dust? Well, I got the playbooks for you. You want to put out 21-, 22- and 23-personnel? Well, I got the playbooks for you. You want to handcuff an awful QB who keeps crying about passing opportunities? Well, I got the playbooks for you. Turn your brain off, run the ball until your eyes bleed and your opponent puts 8 whimps in the box and squeeze in a little play-action to keep the defense honest.

CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS - Shanahan/McVay Offenses

After creating and testing a few of my custom playbooks, I'm finally ready to share with you all my flagship playbook: The Promotion (Pro-Style Motion) Offense. As an X's & O's/film junkie, I've watched and studied several offenses and the hundreds of variations of them with eventually landing on the Shanahan and McVay offenses as my favorites to bring into CFB video games. There's very few under-center, motion-heavy offenses in the college football landscape in 2026 to my knowledge which makes their iterations fun to use. In CFB27, the devs have added a bevy of new under-center formations to help build this playbook and make it more so resemble real life. I took my time selecting through literally thousands of plays and hundreds of formations that were based on Shanahan/McVay's key principals and made an offense close to what I think they'd run at the college level; Shanahan's is filled with a ton of motions, play-actions and 5-route passing plays; McVay's is filled with lots of 11- and 13-personnel that features motions and plenty of deep dig routes amongst other things. I also took on their philosophy of marrying the run and pass game to the nth degree in my other custom playbooks sans homage playbooks (coming soon).

Revamp the passing already

Holy crap the passing is so bad compared to 26. QB constantly is throwing in completely different spots than intended (precision and accuracy), constantly throwing it off my lineman’s helmets, and everyone is completely blanketed on and man coverage defense.

Horrible, completely indefensible PVP experience trying to throw the ball online. The meta this year is literally just running the ball every play. By far the worst CFB game I’ve ever played.

CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS - Flexbone/Option Offenses

I've always envied teams able to execute the Flexbone offense year-in and year-out. We all know the Military Academies deploy this scheme yearly, but I rather focus on the don himself. Many seasons ago you got to see Paul Johnson as this stoic, Greek-like statue pacing back-and-forth on the sidelines calling plays he'd been using since the 80's at Hawaii. Back then and now, he was a bit of a Greek philosopher spreading his knowledge and stories of Flexbone old to a variety of campuses and coaches. If you were visiting Atlanta and did not have the luxury of a bye week or offseason prior, you were in for one helluva ballgame as this offense would grind you down to the bone of a lemon pepper wing. It was methodical, brutal but also beautiful when executed correctly. And, if your defense somehow had the discipline and patience to stop the run, you had to then stop the well-timed, inevitable 6-yard pass to literal giants (Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas (RIP!), Stephen Hill and Darren Waller). The offense was in a way an odyssey and oddity for the previous P4 conferences as the run-and-shoot esque passing concepts and the motion after motion to grind out 3-yard runs would eventually lead to a break in the opponents soul and journey. Inspired, I've created 4 option playbooks ranging from traditional to more modern. Enjoy!

All Flex Offense: Only under-center Flexbone formations for purist sickos who don't want to see 4 WR's on the field.

FlexDOOM Offense: A variety of formations from Flexbone, Pistol and Gun to create a very diverse run game and not sweat when your QB's passing is abysmal.

Coastal Carolina 2020 Offense: This offense can't really be replicated correctly in CFB27, but I've made something close to it after grinding out years of film. It's my favorite playbook to make and easiest to execute.

PISTON Offense: You want to go hyper-speed running the option out of the Pistol and Gun with a few passing concepts to annoy the opponent? This is the offense for you. It was inspired by Sac State's "Go-Go" last year.

Option Offenses with tips and notes

Sim logic

This games fucking sim logic is so bad my team that I’ve built up for 8 fucking season’s somehow Lost to a 61 overall team AT HOME (mind you my team is a 92 overall like this game makes shitty teams good for no reason I feel like overalls don’t matter in this game and haven’t mattered since college football 25.

Attention Pro Style Users

I made a series of various playbooks and the second one is the pro style. I feel like this is for the guys who want something simple in life. I tried to add those simple concepts you see on Sundays and that are best ran with a pocket passer and a legitimate run game. The personnel groups are: 11, 21, 12, and wildcat. There’s a lot of versatility and simplicity, so if you’re interested, feel free to check it out.

I have two versions so there will be two playbooks. The second one has the newly added near and far formations. If you’re interested you can find it by searching my psn-theking8282 or by typing PROSTYLEBABY or PROSTYLEBABY2. This is the second installment of my “BABY” offenses.

I have shared my Spread Offense already, but also,
I have finished the following offenses in my system files: Option, Run & Shoot, Air Raid, Multiple,Veer & Shoot, and Spread Option. I am still messing with the audibles but if anyone wants to see an offense or has any suggestions I’m all ears.

Broken

Maybe its just me. But I like to tweak sliders as im sure we all do had played on all American the whole time and id be playing a team 10 overall less and it felt equal. So I just wanted to test it out. And dropped to varsity to see how easy it was. And the game literally didnt change it plays the exact same. I even reset all my sliders to 50 and the gameplay was the same before and after . I cant be the only one

Interest Boost from Recruits when Manually Upgrading Roster

I remember seeing a post for CFB26 on a “recruiting hack” where you wait to manually upgrade your roster until Week 0 when your recruiting board is already set, scholarships offered and all that. When upgrading your roster during Week 0, you focus on hitting skill caps for your players and that would naturally boost recruits interest on your recruiting board reflected on Week 1 of the season. Does anyone know if this is still a thing, or if theres anything similar? About halfway through my 1st season with Wazzu, wanted to be prepped for my off season/ pre season coming up! Also open to any other suggestions for off season/ pre season upgrades, strategies etc.

Morris Heights Homies

This is my dynasty TB team I have been using a revamping since CFB25. This year I improved the uniforms and made new custom logos, but kept the same team colors.

Located in the Bronx, NY along the Harlem River on Sedgwick Avenue (the birthplace of hip hop), Morris Heights University…home of the homies.
Below are 5 uniforms that completely represent everything the Bronx is….Community, Culture, Swagger, Passion, The Streets, Art, Grit, and most importantly…HIP HOP!

Each uniform can project numerous color combinations, while each one alone compliments a different look and meaning to MHU. From the graffiti texture helmets, to the gold chain collar, these uniforms are unique and give the team identity.

I would like any feedback on these uniforms and feel free to download them and use them if interested. Username:xcodyfresh1017

(Also I’m doing a storyline with these team, filled with weekly game recaps, and seasonal campus newsletters if interested to see)

RTG

It sucks, unplayable damn near, glitchy af ea devs ignore the ea RTG forums, next overall after max legacy score is stupid, no xp sliders is the dumbest change ive ever seen, 26 and 25 cfb are superior to this garbage, slow ass progression like 2k I really want to see an ea dev play this game mode I bet you they drop it after 30 minutes. Whoever made RTG this year should be disappointed and ashamed of themselves. It fucking reeks. Somebody got to do something about this game mode ain’t nobody trying to grind out an offline mode. It’s beyond lame. I don’t want to fucking play ea’s way I want to play my way. I hope this game fucking dies out from trying to be like 2k.

So.... moving teams to other divisions is just now broke forever?

They didn't even fix the littlest of issues with their small update today. And thats moving teams to other divisions witj conference realignment. So now its broke forever. Just like turning on or of conference championship games..... why even bother with this.

Road to the CFP (Online H2H)

It’s frustrating that as you progress through the Road to the CFP mode it’s less and less like playing a football game. Virtually everyone leans on cheese plays and macros.

So many cheese plays from OP formations. Macros that mess with the CPU so you can rush 3 or 4 and getting insta-sacks, making coverages that are virtually impenetrable, all while at the same time can’t really run the ball bc everyone crowds the box and there really isn‘t a way to punish them. After the play I look at their plays and it’s nothing like what they actually ran bc everything is so heavily modified.

90% of the people I play against are Oregon and the other 10% are playing as someone just bc their playbook has some broken formation or plays.

I‘m at All-American and before this skill level I might run into it every once in a while but now its every game and it just ruins the fun. Sucks bc I really enjoyed it and now that mode feels ruined.

I know, I know skill issues, cry more, blah, blah, blah.
