The Columbus Aviators are releasing former All-UFL safety Leon O'Neal Jr., he announced via social media. O'Neal, who spent UFL camp in DC, was picked up by the Aviators a few weeks ago. He only saw the field on 14 snaps, primarily playing slot corner. | James Larsen (Pro Football Newsroom)

Disappointing outcome. He was great for Houston the last couple seasons. Wish him the best.

"There's no real explanation to that." I asked Columbus Aviators HC Ted Ginn Jr. about the decision to kick an XP down 11 in the 4Q, despite UFL rules making a two point try the move to bring the game within one score. His answer ⤵️ | James Larsen (Pro Football Newsroom)

Some observations:

  • The last two weeks have been the two lowest-drawing of the season
  • Louisville and Columbus both dropped again from their second to third home games, but he fall off was less than 400 fans for Columbus and a little over 600 for Louisville
  • Orlando's fall-off from last week to this was also just under 600 fans and better than their Week 2 number
  • D.C. drew their lowest figure in team history for the second game in a row
  • Orlando joins Dallas as the only the two teams who have played four home games
  • St. Louis and Birmingham are the only teams with only two games played; both are home next week
  • D.C. and Houston play their fourth home games next week
